We make it, store it, move it, sell it, and mend it.

About your role:

We’re looking for a Business Intelligence & Reporting Analyst to help shape and deliver high-quality data, reporting and MI solutions across the business.

You’ll work closely with stakeholders to understand their reporting and data needs, translating these into effective solutions using Databricks, Microsoft Fabric and Power BI. You’ll own delivery from initial requirements through to testing and implementation, ensuring solutions are accurate, efficient and well governed.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys combining technical data expertise with stakeholder engagement and problem-solving, while helping us modernise our reporting landscape and make better use of automation and AI.

What you'll be doing:

Working with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into clear data and reporting requirements.

Designing and delivering MI, reporting and BI solutions using Databricks, Microsoft Fabric and Power BI.

Developing effective datasets, dashboards, KPIs and reusable data products that provide meaningful business insight.

Supporting the migration and simplification of legacy reporting onto strategic data platforms.

Identifying opportunities to automate processes, improve reporting and remove unnecessary manual activity.

Managing delivery through development, testing, release and operational handover.

Ensuring strong data quality, governance, security and control throughout the reporting lifecycle.

Using AI-enabled tools responsibly to support analysis, documentation, testing and more efficient ways of working.

Providing technical guidance and peer review to colleagues, helping to strengthen standards and share knowledge across the team.

Contributing to improvements in BI, data engineering and reporting practices across the function.

Requirements

  • Experience delivering BI, MI, analytics or data solutions within a data-focused environment.
  • Strong SQL skills and practical experience with data and reporting technologies.
  • Experience with Power BI and exposure to Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, Python or PySpark.
  • Experience gathering requirements and translating business needs into effective technical solutions.
  • An understanding of data modelling, quality, governance, security and controlled change.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
  • Experience working across multiple projects and balancing different priorities and dependencies.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving, continuous improvement and automation.
  • An interest in how AI and emerging technologies can improve analytics, reporting and ways of working.
  • Experience of legacy MI or data environments such as Hadoop or SQL Server would also be beneficial, particularly where you’ve supported migration, simplification or decommissioning activity.
  • Why should you apply?
  • We’re not a perfect place – but we’re a people place. Our priority is supporting all of the different realities our people face. Life is about so much more than work. We get it. That’s why we’ve designed our total rewards to give you the flexibility to choose what you need, when you need it, making sure that you and your family are supported not only financially, but physically and emotionally too. Visit the link below to discover why we’re a great place to work and what being part of more means for you.
  • If you're full of energy, fired up about sustainability, and ready to craft not only a better tomorrow, but a better you, then come and find your purpose in a team where your voice matters, your growth is non-negotiable, and your ambitions are our priority.
  • Help us, help you. We would love for you to share any information about yourself throughout our recruitment process so that we can better understand you and help shape your journey.
