Description

Location: Skopje.

This role sits within one of the company's key client teams and shapes how research feeds into digital products and services. Work includes looking at AI adoption and journey-driven product thinking.

You will plan and run studies, pull the findings together, and present them so product managers, designers and other stakeholders can act on them. You will also help improve the research practice by refining methods, upgrading tools and keeping user needs visible across the team.

The work happens in a lively setting with a talented, sociable group of colleagues.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and run user research, from early discovery through usability tests and concept checks.
  • Define research questions and help teams map out a problem before moving to solutions.
  • Analyse results, write up insights and share them in a form that informs product and design choices.
  • Collaborate closely with designers, product managers and developers in cross-functional teams.
  • Help build research standards and working habits that work across teams and subjects.
  • Bring structure and fresh ideas to research through methods, tools and good practice.
  • Promote a journey-driven, evidence-based way of building products.
  • Keep learning new approaches and share what you learn to strengthen research across the team.

Requirements

  • More than 5 years of user research experience, ideally at an agency and within agile, product-focused teams.
  • Strong track record of running and analysing studies, including usability tests, interviews and concept validations.
  • Ability to make research findings clear and usable for designers, product managers and stakeholders.
  • Keeping up with new tools, methods and technologies and bringing new perspectives to the team.
  • Familiarity with journey mapping and experience frameworks, and a drive to use them in real product work.
  • Confidence facilitating sessions, talking with users and contributing to product strategy.
  • A proactive approach: you add structure, push the practice forward and like hands-on work.
  • English at working proficiency.
  • German is a strong plus.

Conditions

Hybrid working with 5 days in the office per month.

Equal opportunity: applicants are considered without regard to protected characteristics.

Benefits

  • Transparent career progression and pay.
  • Supplemental and additional health insurance.
  • Third pillar pension fund.
  • Referral bonus programme.
  • Health contribution through the OpenUp platform and a multisport programme.
  • The company has been a Certified B Corp since 2021.
  • Work with a wide range of clients, large and small, local and global, with shared celebration of wins.
  • Training, development and certifications to build your skills.
  • Annual DEPT Cares Month, when employees donate their skills to local charities.
  • Supportive, healthy company culture.
