Description

You will join the Experience & Adoption team within the company's DD&IT function, where each researcher owns the research agenda for one or more product or experience areas.

The work turns unclear business problems into evidence that improves digital experiences and guides product and business choices.

This is a senior, hands-on individual contributor role. You will pair strong qualitative and quantitative skills with good judgement and work alongside product, design, engineering and business colleagues so that research leads to action.

Responsibilities

  • Set the research agenda around business priorities and gaps in evidence, frame questions that lead to decisions, and decide whether a new study, existing evidence or analytics will add the most value.
  • Run mixed-methods studies from start to finish, choosing sampling and methods that suit each problem, and combine insights from several sources into one picture.
  • Turn findings into clear recommendations, state how confident you are and what the limits are, and track which decisions and results follow.
  • Bring user needs into roadmap, prioritisation and design discussions, challenge assumptions where needed, and help stakeholders use research responsibly.
  • Mentor colleagues, raise methods and quality standards, and add reusable evidence to the shared insights repository.
  • Find places where AI can measurably improve research workflows without weakening quality or rigour.
  • Keep research ethical and inclusive, with proper participant consent, data handling and documentation at every stage.

Requirements

  • At least 8 years of applied research experience, for example in product research or design research.
  • Proven expertise in both qualitative and quantitative methods.
  • Ability to frame ambiguous problems and choose approaches in proportion to them.
  • A record of research shaping important product or business decisions.
  • Hands-on experience with enterprise-scale research tools and or repositories.
  • Excellent written and spoken English, and clear, credible communication with senior stakeholders.
  • A bachelor's degree in human-computer interaction, cognitive science, psychology, statistics, anthropology, design research or a related discipline.
  • Working knowledge of research ethics, consent, privacy and confidentiality.
  • Accessibility and inclusive research expertise (a plus).
  • Background in digital capabilities, IT infrastructure, IT governance, IT service delivery, IT service management (ITSM), project stakeholder management and technology use.

Conditions

Base salary range is €41,900.00 to €77,700.00.

Base pay is set on gender-neutral criteria such as relevant skills, competencies and experience, under the company's pay setting policy, and is reviewed periodically after you join.

You may be eligible for a performance-based bonus, depending on certain performance parameters.

Flexible and hybrid working is offered where possible.

Relocation support is not available, so apply only if this location is accessible to you.

Pay and benefits vary by country and follow local law, including any applicable collective bargaining agreements; the full package will be shared with you separately during the application process.

The company is committed to an inclusive workplace with teams representative of the patients and communities it serves.

Benefits

  • Benefits in kind include insurance plans, retirement plans, wellbeing resources and global recognition schemes.
  • Minimum 14 weeks of paid parental leave.
