Description

The team is building out how retail marketing is planned, carried out and measured across online, offline and omnichannel shopping.

This is a 12-month contract role for a senior trade and shopper marketing manager at the company. You will strengthen retail execution and measurement, linking trade and shopper marketing to commercial thinking and evidence-based decisions. You will help build the frameworks, processes and capabilities that make retail marketing spend work harder.

The role is hybrid under the Best of Both model, with 3 days in the office and 2 days from home if you choose. Relocation and visa assistance are not offered. Applications close on 16th November 2026, and the CV must be in English.

Applications are reviewed on an ongoing basis. The company may amend or withdraw the job at any time, including before the advertised closing date, so apply early if interested.

Responsibilities

  • Help define the trade marketing development and measurement framework across online, offline and omnichannel retail marketing.
  • Work with Sales, Trade Marketing and Analytics & Insights to set metrics and methods for judging retail marketing effectiveness.
  • Bring outside retail thinking into the team, looking at developments inside and beyond the toy category to find opportunities and possible pilots.
  • Find out what end users need and help turn those needs into practical digital solutions and better business processes.
  • Write clear case-for-change material so teams understand and adopt new approaches to retail planning, execution tracking and ROI measurement.
  • Connect commercial needs with practical solutions that work for the people using them.
  • Work closely with Digital Products, Analytics & Insights and Sales Planning colleagues within the Retail Centre of Excellence, part of Trade & Shopper Marketing.
  • Balance the needs of commercial and digital teams, manage competing priorities and help colleagues adopt improved processes.

Requirements

  • Substantial hands-on retail marketing experience, ideally in fashion, beauty, apparel, consumer electronics or fast-moving consumer goods.
  • Experience delivering shopper marketing plans for both eCommerce and offline retail.
  • Experience working with B2B retail customers on retail or shopper marketing activity.
  • Experience building retail execution plans or frameworks for retail marketing activity.
  • Experience leading change when new tools, processes or capabilities were introduced.
  • Experience writing case-for-change narratives to win stakeholder support for new initiatives.
  • Familiarity with data systems and how digital products work is a significant advantage, such as how data moves from front-line apps into data lakes and visualisation layers, and how market measurement tools capture data.

Conditions

12-month contract.

Hybrid working: 3 days in the office and 2 days from home if you wish.

Relocation and visa assistance are not offered.

Applications close 16th November 2026. CV must be submitted in English.

The company is committed to equal employment opportunity and equal pay, and welcomes applicants from all backgrounds.

Benefits

  • Enhanced paid family care leave.
  • Life and disability insurance for all colleagues.
  • Wellbeing resources and benefits, plus community and creative activities.
  • Colleague discount available from day one.
  • Bonus scheme, if eligible, when goals are reached.
