Description

You will act as a Technical and Business Analyst on an enterprise Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales implementation covering both Commercial and Government instances.

You connect business leaders, frontline sales teams, partners, and IT and engineering teams, and you lead the work of turning their needs into clear technical requirements.

Alongside standard BA work such as requirements, process modeling, UAT planning, and post go-live support, the role has a strong technical and innovative focus. After go-live, you build and prototype solutions with low-code and no-code Microsoft Power Platform and AI tools such as Copilot, Power Automate, and Dataverse, then hand them to core IT for governance and deployment.

Responsibilities

  • Gather and document business needs with sales, sales operations, and channel partner stakeholders, then convert them into detailed requirements, user stories, mapping documents, and acceptance criteria.
  • Run requirements interviews, gap analyses, and process mapping across core CRM areas: lead management, opportunity funnel, account hierarchy and DUNS, and partner relationship management.
  • Certify solution designs and keep platform customizations aligned with out-of-the-box best practices.
  • Lead delivery from requirements through sprint builds, Data Validation Testing (DVT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), production deployment, and hypercare after go-live.
  • Build UAT plans, write and review test scripts, coordinate testing across business teams, and drive defect fixes with vendor and partner engineers, such as Microsoft FastTrack and Infosys.
  • Run readiness reviews before and after go-live, support cutover, and oversee the retirement of legacy platforms.
  • After go-live, prototype and build light automation with Power Automate and Power Apps, plus embedded AI tools such as Copilot and AI Builder.
  • Validate and refine custom AI prompts, automated workflows, and seller productivity tools, then set up a structured handoff so IT can maintain them long term.
  • Work with technical leads, enterprise architects, and program managers to keep data models aligned across Commercial and Government instances.
  • Handle end-user support and operational issues, and guide junior analysts and operations teams.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree, or 4+ years of work experience.
  • 6+ years of relevant experience, gained through work, military service, or specialized training.
  • Experience as a technical or business analyst, or solution provider, in enterprise CRM environments.
  • Hands-on work with Dynamics 365 Sales, including Dataverse, model-driven apps, security roles, forms and views, and custom entity design.
  • Experience writing technical and business requirements, mapping specifications, and user stories, and refining a backlog.
  • Experience leading complex end-to-end CRM implementations over several sprints in SDLC or Agile delivery.
  • Willing to travel up to 25% of the time.
  • Even better if you have: a Dynamics 365 functional consultant certification, such as MB-210, PL-200, or PL-900.
  • Even better if you have: experience with UAT planning, test script writing, defect triage, and cutover or post go-live support.
  • Even better if you have: direct use of Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps) and Copilot or AI features in D365 Sales.
  • Even better if you have: skill in prototyping low-code and no-code solutions and handing builds to IT engineering teams.
  • Even better if you have: experience with complex data migrations, DVT, and third-party or legacy integrations using DMF, OData, or REST APIs.
  • Even better if you have: a background in telecom, enterprise B2B sales operations, or partner relationship management workflows.
  • Even better if you have: a self-directed style, the ability to solve complex and unclear problems, and experience meeting tight release deadlines.
  • You are encouraged to apply even if you do not meet every 'even better' item.
