Business Analyst (f/m/d) for Delos Cloud – Business Intelligence

Description

The role is a Business Analyst position in Business Intelligence at Delos Cloud, a start-up founded by SAP.

The company builds a sovereign cloud platform that supports digital transformation in the German public sector and helps implement the German Administrative Cloud Strategy (DVS).

The platform must meet the data protection, IT security and secrecy requirements set by the BSI.

The company is a trusted partner of federal, state and local IT service providers and adds to their service portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Design analyses, reports and dashboards that draw on many different data sources.
• Gather and carry out requirements from both customers and suppliers.
• Set a consistent visual style for reports and dashboards, shaped to each target group.
• Know enough about the IT architecture to reach the underlying data sources.
• Build and develop an enterprise data model.
• Keep talking with stakeholders so that reports and dashboards keep getting better.
• Support data-driven decisions that hold up over time.
• Own assigned work packages from the subject area and set their priorities.

Requirements

• Have at least 3 years of experience in data visualization, data science or a related field.
• Know the methods, tools and techniques used to build reports and dashboards.
• Analyse data problems carefully and solve complex ones.
• Communicate clearly and work well in cross-functional teams with stakeholders.
• Have a good eye for presentation and enough IT architecture knowledge to access data sources.
• Desirable: initial experience with BI and ITSM tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Qlik, Salesforce or SQL for building reports and dashboards.
• Fluency in German and English is a must.
