Business Analyst

Description

We’re looking for a Business Analyst who enjoys solving complex problems, working with different stakeholders, and turning business requirements into practical solutions.

Briefing

You'll join our Configuration & Implementation team , working on new customer implementations and supporting new propositions for existing clients.

You'll play an important role in connecting customers, implementation partners, and engineering teams , helping translate business requirements into working solutions within our cloud-based SaaS platform .

You'll work with components such as Orbis Rules, DocStreet, and Mid Office , supporting the configuration of business rules, calculations, and processes. You'll also have the opportunity to take ownership of implementation activities and work closely with stakeholders across different organisations.

Responsibilities

• Act as the link between customers, implementation partners, and engineering teams during implementation projects.
• Gather, analyse, and translate business requirements into system configurations, rules, calculations, and processes.
• Coordinate with implementation partners to ensure configuration work is delivered on time and meets quality expectations.
• Analyse customer requirements, challenge assumptions, and propose practical solutions.
• Identify when requirements can be addressed through configuration and when product or engineering changes are needed.
• Assess the impact and risks of changes to business processes and system rules.
• Support the successful implementation of our platform for new and existing customers.

Requirements

• You have 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Configuration Analyst, or in a similar analytical role , preferably within financial services.
• You have experience or a strong understanding of financial products and processes , ideally within Dutch mortgages, consumer lending, or other lending services.
• You have strong stakeholder management and communication skills and are confident working with customers, technical teams, and external partners.
• You can independently analyse complex requirements, challenge stakeholders when needed, and translate business needs into practical solutions.
• You have an interest in system configuration, business rules, or rules engines . Hands-on experience with configuration tools or banking platforms is a plus.
• Experience working with implementation partners or system integrators is an advantage, but not a requirement.
• You are based in Amsterdam or the surrounding area and are comfortable travelling to client sites when needed.
• Dutch language skills are a strong plus, given the focus on the Dutch financial services market.
