Description

The company makes Grafana Cloud, a fully managed observability platform used by more than 10,000 organizations to keep systems reliable, resolve incidents faster, and manage telemetry at scale.

The platform is built on open source and open standards, works across any stack, and brings AI and observability together so teams and their agents can see and act on data wherever it sits.

Customers include Anthropic, Bloomberg, NVIDIA, Microsoft, and Salesforce.

The company is 100% remote, with team members in more than 40 countries, and is backed by Lightspeed Venture Partners, Sequoia Capital, GIC, Coatue, J.P. Morgan, CapitalG, and Lead Edge Capital.

The company is growing quickly and is a technology startup in a high growth phase.

The Enterprise Solutions Engineering team is the in-house group of customer-facing product experts. They teach current and prospective customers so those customers succeed, share technical and product knowledge through demos, hands-on enablement, presentations, and technical evaluations, and work with Sales to qualify and close deals. The team also carries customer feedback to Product Management and Engineering.

You do not need to match every requirement to apply.

Responsibilities

  • Join early on a high growth team and solve technical and customer problems well.
  • Work with Sales to explain the company's value proposition, vision, and strategy to customers.
  • Own the technical side of customer engagements and help close fast-moving opportunities using deep competitive knowledge, technical skill, and credibility.
  • Give product and technical presentations to current and prospective customers.
  • Communicate with customers and internal teams to share feedback on products and the competitive landscape.
  • Steer product discussions based on the needs and problems you hear from customers.
  • Improve documentation, write blog posts, record videos, contribute knowledge base articles, and build public and internal enablement materials.

Requirements

  • Ideally based in the Greater NYC or Boston area.
  • At least 5 years of technical pre-sales experience, ideally with open source technologies or in metrics and monitoring.
  • The role involves varied, complex work that calls for sound judgment, collaboration, and leadership.
  • You will work and collaborate with an international team, since the company is remote-first.
  • Strong written and spoken communication, so you can explain the value and technical strengths of the products to internal remote teams and customers worldwide.
  • A genuine enjoyment of technical problem solving and creative solutions for customers.
  • A technical mindset and a drive to keep growing technically. Recent coding bootcamp graduates and people with post-sales or engineering backgrounds are also welcome.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and creative.

Conditions

The US on-target earnings (OTE) range is $204,000 to $254,000, and the final figure depends on level, experience, and skillset as assessed during interviews.

Every role includes Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).

Pay ranges vary by country. If you apply from outside the US, your recruiter will explain the pay range and benefits for your market at the start of the process.

The company is fully remote and has a global culture, with frequent company-wide updates and open decision-making.

Career development paths are defined, and leaders are visible and approachable.

Applications are welcome from everyone regardless of protected characteristics. AI tools may help match CVs to openings, and recruiters review every CV manually.

Benefits

  • Restricted Stock Units (RSUs) in every role.
  • In-person onboarding with other new hires.
  • 30 days of annual leave per year, including 3 days reserved as company shutdown days. Local law applies where relevant.
  • Defined career growth pathways and support to try new things and ship strong work.
