The role is the main technical and strategic expert on high-value Overwatch Elite deals, which combine Managed Services and compliance in complex ways.

You will work alongside the operations, sales and engineering teams to shape customer strategy, handle demanding documentation, and advise on future risks and architecture.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the lead subject matter expert on Overwatch Elite opportunities, setting the technical and compliance direction for complex Managed Services deals.
• Hold executive-level technical discussions that align the customer's business goals with the company's managed security and compliance offerings.
• Work closely with operations and service delivery to confirm that elite solutions are technically sound and compliant, and that they move smoothly from scoping into active management.
• Assess customer environments for current vulnerabilities and future state risks, then design and present strategic roadmaps that reduce risk and grow with the customer.
• Lead the scoping and writing of complex documentation, making sure every proposed solution meets strict industry standards and regulatory frameworks.
• Connect operations, sales and engineering so that high-tier customer engagements follow one shared approach.
• Support the company's mission by acting in line with its values.
• Know the applicable federal, state and local laws, along with company policies and procedures, and act honestly, ethically and professionally.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 8-10 years of experience in IT security or a related field.
• Certifications: CISSP, CCA, CCIE.
• Deep hands-on knowledge of systems, advanced networking, cybersecurity and regulatory compliance.
• Top-tier industry certifications and advanced networking or security credentials are highly preferred.
• A proven record in a solutions architecture, engineering SME, operations SME or overlay role, especially with Managed Services and complex enterprise environments.
• Strong working knowledge of major compliance frameworks, with the ability to map technical controls to regulatory requirements.
• Strong customer-facing skills, with the ability to turn complex technical and compliance risks into clear business outcomes for C-level executives.
• The ability to look past the immediate technical fix and design long-term, secure, compliant future-state environments.
• The ability to work well with every level of client and IT provider staff.
• Physical demands: you will sit, talk, see, hear and use your hands and arms most of the time, stand and move frequently, and occasionally climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. You may occasionally lift or move up to 10 pounds.
