The company runs a search and AI platform that lets organizations find the answers they need in real time, across all their data, at scale. More than 50% of the Fortune 500 use it.
The platform pairs search precision with AI to speed up the outcomes that matter. It combines structured and unstructured data for search, security, and observability, as cloud or hybrid solutions.
This is a Federal Civilian Solutions Architect role. You will be the main technical strategist and trusted adviser to Federal Civilian agencies, system integrators, and channel partners, mapping agency needs such as cyber defense, infrastructure monitoring, and enterprise search to the company's stack.
You will lead technical work across the sales lifecycle, push agency needs inside the product teams, and act as a technical thought leader in the DMV federal ecosystem. Cyber SIEM and XDR solutions fit current federal cyber strategies such as M2614 and Zero Trust.
Responsibilities
Act as lead technical adviser on your assigned Federal Civilian accounts, working with Account Executives to plan territory strategy from first discovery through to the technical win.
Learn agency modernization mandates, IT goals, and operational pain points, then show how the platform delivers quick mission value, cost savings, and a fit with the wider enterprise data setup.
Build trust at every level of customer leadership, from program managers and enterprise architects to Agency CIOs, CISOs, and CTOs.
Run technical demonstrations, tailored proofs of concept, and custom architecture prototypes that show the platform's search, observability, and security capability.
Work with Federal System Integrators, VARs, and strategic partners on joint account plans, RFIs, RFPs, and program captures.
Take federal requirements such as compliance standards, air-gapped environment needs, and security controls to product management and engineering.
Represent the company at public sector events, federal user groups, and tech summits across the DMV area.
Requirements
Have 4+ years as a Solutions Architect, Systems Engineer, or Technical Presales Consultant in enterprise software or federal high-tech.
Have familiarity with, or direct experience supporting, federal mission areas such as Healthcare & HHS; Fraud, Waste, and Abuse (FWA) & Regulatory Oversight; Federal Data & Analytics Initiatives; Financial Systems & Federal Reserve; and International Affairs, State Department, and Civilian NGOs.
Have a record of leading technical evaluations and analyses of alternatives (AOA), handling technical objections, and explaining the ROI of platform modernization and software re-architecture.
Influence technical decision-makers and earn confidence from small technical teams and large executive audiences.
Influence product, design, and architecture decisions on technical merit and on mission value.
Design experience with AI systems, foundation models, and closed LLMs is highly desirable, especially where data systems supply secure enterprise context.
Experience in supervised and unsupervised machine learning, data resilience and failover architectures, and systems design is a plus.
Keep learning on your own, tracking open-source, cloud-native, and AI/ML trends. Experts in SIEM, XDR, and federal cyber strategies such as M2614 and Zero Trust should be able to thrive in the role and lead customer engagements.
