Senior SIGINT Systems Engineer

The company is Northstrat, part of the company. It is hiring a senior systems engineer for its integration team.

You will help with agile integration and testing of a system of systems for a national customer in the mission management domain.

The company wants someone with experience in mission management ground architecture and full lifecycle systems engineering and integration (SE&I) of mission software. That covers requirements analysis, acceptance criteria, end-to-end mission test threads, and user training.

The work often starts from loosely defined tasks, so the company needs someone who can drive their own work and also deliver as part of a group.

Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements or solution epics and derive acceptance criteria, tests, and mission threads.
• Run engineering investigations to find the root cause of problems.
• Spot and track dependencies and risks.
• Build deep knowledge of system interfaces and pinpoint key integration points.
• Lead technical exchange meetings (TEMs) with vendors, customers, and the internal team.
• Review interfaces and UIs across applications for consistency, and draft standards to keep them aligned.
• Write technical design documents, test plans, and other artifacts that support integration across systems.
• Create or oversee user training material, such as guides and videos.
• Take part in agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, planning, iteration reviews, and retrospectives.
• Work with teammates, customers, and peers from other companies, putting the team ahead of yourself and sharing information freely.
• Suggest better processes and improvements that make the team more effective.

Requirements

• Must have: active or current Top Secret clearance with SCI access (TS/SCI), and the ability to obtain a CI polygraph.
• Must have: a bachelor's degree.
• Must have: 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Must have: expertise in the SIGINT mission management domain or mission processing.
• Must have: experience with full lifecycle systems engineering and integration, including end-to-end multi-segment testing.
• Must have: an understanding of how federal government operations work.
• Must have: strong communication skills with teammates, customers, and peers from other companies, a high level of professionalism, flexibility, and comfort with change.
• Must have: the drive to work on your own and a willingness to keep learning.
• Nice to have: a bachelor's or higher degree in engineering, computer science, information technology, or a related field.

Conditions

Colorado pay range: $166,400 - $228,000 USD.

Virginia pay range: $166,400 - $228,000 USD.

The posted pay range is $166,400.00 - $228,000.00.

Pay depends on factors such as location, federal contract labor category, wage rates, experience, skills, education, and certifications.
