Description

The company is hiring a Platform Engineer for its DevSecOps team to design, build and grow its applications and technologies.

Your work will help the RF system and Digital Twin run at high performance and stay reliable, in close coordination with RF hardware engineers, system designers and other stakeholders.

The role suits a self-motivated technical leader who works well in agile settings and picks up new technologies and changing requirements quickly.

Responsibilities

  • Manage compute, storage, networking and database services across cloud environments while keeping them within security and compliance frameworks.
  • Provision Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes environments across multiple security domains, spanning cloud, data center and edge.
  • Configure and tune groups, application gateways and other protective cloud controls.
  • Write scripts and other tools to build and maintain automation.
  • Work with other engineers and subject matter experts to put testing into pipelines.
  • Set and enforce security best practices for system implementations and data privacy.
  • Run trade studies to choose open-source, commercial or existing government solutions that balance security, supportability, performance, cost, user experience and time to operations.
  • Work with other teams to understand integration needs and scale existing platforms to meet them.
  • Partner with Security to maintain compliance and build secure solutions.

Requirements

  • Required: US citizenship.
  • Required: an active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
  • Required: a BS or BA plus 7 years of experience, or equivalent education and experience.
  • Required: 7+ years in cloud or infrastructure engineering.
  • Required: extensive hands-on engineering in at least one of OpenShift, AWS, GCP or Rancher.
  • Required: expert Terraform skills or similar, with proven experience managing infrastructure as code.
  • Required: experience running production Kubernetes clusters (OpenShift or Rancher) that support processing workloads.
  • Required: experience with containers (Docker, Podman) and CI/CD pipelines in Gitlab or Jenkins.
  • Required: scripting or programming ability.
  • Required: experience with GitOps using ArgoCD.
  • Desired: Linux or Red Hat knowledge.
  • Desired: experience with Digital Twin systems.
  • Desired: experience with the Elastic Stack (Elastic, Logstash, Kibana) or similar.
