Description

The company is a global consultancy with a fast-growing European business and ambitious plans for regional growth.

The company helps major global clients deliver ambitious, highly technical projects from over 120 offices worldwide.

Based in Dublin, you will take a leading role in hiring for the Infrastructure team in Europe and support recruitment in other sectors when needed.

You will recruit project managers, cost managers and project controls specialists who work on infrastructure and construction projects.

You will lead the regional recruitment team and work with senior stakeholders, including regional managing directors, cost centre directors, and sector and account leads.

The role may also involve managing key accounts.

The role suits an experienced recruiter who has managed people, ideally from professional services, or a senior agency recruiter with a construction background who wants more variety and responsibility in an in-house corporate role.

Responsibilities

  • Run the full recruitment process for your area, hands on, from sourcing to hire.
  • Find and approach active candidates yourself.
  • Keep up with the local market and share market activity and good practice.
  • Keep ATS (SmartRecruiters) records accurate and the process compliant, from opening requisitions and posting jobs through to hiring, and be accountable for this across the local team.
  • Talk with programme, country and regional stakeholders to understand short, medium and long-term hiring needs, and respond to them proactively.
  • Where relevant, coach, train and lead a team of recruiters, improving their compliance and efficiency.
  • Assign recruiting work to local team members and own and improve the sector's recruitment process.
  • Produce performance reports and talent insights for key stakeholders.
  • Keep reporting accurate and the process compliant for key accounts.
  • Make sure the European recruitment process meets CI and EDI requirements.

Requirements

  • At least 10 years' experience in recruitment or talent acquisition.
  • Ideally, experience in the construction market recruiting project managers, cost managers or project controls specialists.
  • Previous experience managing a team of recruiters or resourcers.
  • You are committed to finding strong talent in demanding conditions.
  • You can show drive to meet demanding delivery targets, both individually and as a team.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Fluent English is essential. Other European languages are beneficial.
  • You build good relationships with stakeholders and candidates.
  • You are motivated, flexible and results driven.
  • You organise well and can set priorities.

Conditions

The role is based in Dublin.

The company promotes a flexible working environment that respects work-life balance.

Benefits

  • Competitive pay and company benefits.

  • Opportunity to join company committees, such as Inclusion, Social and Wellness, Learning and Development, Corporate Social Responsibility and Net Zero Vision.
