  • Oversee contractor and vendor performance on quality, cost and schedule.
  • Lead continuous improvement and apply good practice in project delivery.
  • Contribute to strategic planning and to transmission infrastructure programs.
  • SOX control responsibilities may form part of the role and should be followed where they apply.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, project management or a related field.
  • 7+ years managing utility, transmission, energy infrastructure or large-scale capital projects.
  • A proven record leading complex, multi-disciplinary project teams.
  • Solid knowledge of transmission systems, utility operations and project delivery methods.

  • Strong communication, stakeholder management and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency with project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Primavera P6 or similar platforms.
  • Preferred: Professional Engineer (PE) license.
  • Preferred: PMP (Project Management Professional) certification.
  • Preferred: experience with transmission line, substation and grid modernization projects in the US and/or Canada.
  • Preferred: knowledge of NERC, FERC and utility regulatory requirements.
