Senior Project Manager Innovation

Description

The innovation team is hiring a Senior Project Manager Innovation to lead challenging, multi-disciplinary projects from concept to product release.

You will work alongside skilled professionals in an open, forward-thinking team that values new ideas, good practice and learning new techniques and tools.

You follow the company's product development process to deliver projects on time, within scope and within budget, and you own both the progress and the quality of your projects and their data.

The company builds sustainable solutions for the food industry and works closely with its customers and partners.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional project teams and keep them aligned on direction and collaboration.
• Own project timelines and budgets so that delivery stays efficient and on target.
• Monitor active projects and offer sharp, constructive input that drives improvement.
• Work closely with your project team to turn ideas into concrete plans, assigning roles and defining the actions needed to move work forward.
• Keep all stakeholders informed promptly and openly through clear reporting and communication.
• Follow the company's internal policies and processes to keep projects structured and reliable.
• Visit customers and partners on site when a project needs hands-on support.

Requirements

• Strong project management skills, with attention to both process and the quality of outcomes.
• Goal-oriented, focused on delivering successful project results.
• Result-driven and pragmatic, ready to get hands-on when needed to keep things moving.
• Deep experience in complex project and change management.
• Strong people skills to build and lead high-performing project teams.
• Strong communication and change management skills, able to engage and influence stakeholders at every level of the organisation.
• Able to explain complex technical information in clear, simple language for a broad audience.
• Positive, solution-focused mindset with a can-do attitude.
• Driven, proactive and well organised, with analytical and strategic thinking.
• Master's degree in engineering or a related field.
• Education in project management.
• At least 10 years of project management experience in an innovation environment.
• Knowledge of the agile mindset and extensive experience with agile methods such as SCRUM and Kanban.
• Experience in multicultural, multidisciplinary organisations, comfortable working across diverse teams and environments.
• Skilled in English and Dutch, both written and spoken.
