Job Overview

Role Purpose

This role supports execution of our Federal strategy by adding dedicated program leadership and government practitioner expertise to Public Sector Practice Empowerment. The role helps coordinate complex Federal opportunities and initiatives across Product, Success, Sales, and other internal stakeholders where agency-specific operating, procurement, compliance, and implementation requirements require deeper Federal context.

The role serves as the dedicated Federal practitioner lead for Relativity FOIA within the Federal segment. FOIA is a core Federal agency workflow, and Federal is where Relativity FOIA opportunities, implementations, and adoption are concentrated. The role provides the practitioner expertise needed to support Relativity FOIA as it moves from launch through implementation, adoption, and continued product maturity.

Why This Role Matters

Federal opportunities often involve multiple stakeholders, statutory and regulatory requirements, procurement considerations, complex agency operating environments, and long implementation cycles. Supporting those opportunities requires coordination across Product, Success, Sales, and Public Sector, with demand across the Federal segment exceeding what current Practice Empowerment capacity can cover.

That demand is increasing with the availability of Relativity FOIA and growing adoption of aiR, creating additional needs around agency implementation, adoption, product feedback, and customer support. Relativity FOIA also requires specific practitioner expertise in Federal FOIA workflows, statutory requirements, agency operations, and implementation that broader program support alone does not provide.

This role adds dedicated FOIA capacity and practitioner expertise to help teams navigate those requirements, identify recurring issues and dependencies, and apply what we learn from individual agencies across the broader public sector business. FOIA is an important area of ownership within the role, but the role extends across Federal products, workflows, customers, and priorities.

Core Responsibilities

This role would:

support execution of priority Federal opportunities and initiatives, including FOIA-specific opportunities where Relativity FOIA is in scope, bringing agency operating context and practitioner expertise into complex customer engagements

translate Federal agency workflows, operational requirements, procurement realities, compliance requirements, and recurring customer needs into actionable recommendations for Product and Public Sector leadership

serve as a point-of-contact in Product to identify and evaluate Federal-specific requirements, workflow gaps, adoption barriers, and opportunities across R1G, including continued practitioner input on Relativity FOIA

help define implementation standards, readiness criteria, and governance approaches for Federal deployments, including FOIA implementations and agency data migration

partner with Sales and account teams on complex Federal opportunities, demonstrations, RFIs/RFPs, and strategic account work where Federal operating context and practitioner credibility matter

support Customer Success and related teams with strategic guidance , segment-specific playbooks, and on complex implementations or workflow designs.

identify recurring product, process, procurement, and implementation blockers that affect Federal adoption or scale, and help drive cross-functional resolution

capture Federal customer and market intelligence and translate it into structured recommendations that inform Product, go-to-market, and Public Sector priorities

help align Product, Sales, Success, and other internal stakeholders around Federal customer requirements, dependencies, and priorities

What Success Looks Like

Federal practitioner leadership to address agency-specific workflow, procurement, compliance, and operational requirements

Federal customer requirements and operating realities are consistently reflected in Product feedback, implementation planning, and go-to-market decisions

Relativity aiR growth and use case expansion across Federal government customers.

Relativity FOIA growth and expansion with lessons from early agency work feeding back into product maturity and repeatable delivery practices

Product, Sales, Success, and Public Sector have clearer alignment on Federal requirements, dependencies, priorities, and next actions for complex opportunities and customers

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate brings:

direct Federal agency experience, ideally spanning FOIA, records and information management, eDiscovery, information governance, or related legal and regulatory workflows

significant program leadership experience in complex, regulated government environments

strong cross-functional leadership and the ability to work effectively across multiple teams and senior stakeholders

the ability to translate Federal agency workflows, operational requirements, procurement considerations, and legal or regulatory requirements into practical product and business recommendations

experience establishing standards, governance, procedures, training, or other repeatable operating practices across complex organizations

credibility with agency stakeholders and sound judgment in complex and high-stakes environments

experience with legal technology, records-related workflows, investigations, or other government-adjacent operational environments

Relativity is committed to competitive, fair, and equitable compensation practices.
