Description

The company has spent more than 75 years delivering large programmes across real estate, infrastructure and natural resources, and the buildings and assets it helps deliver include data centres.

This is a full-time senior role for someone who has already supported large-scale construction projects.

Responsibilities

  • Keep stakeholders such as architects, engineers and supply chain partners aligned so projects meet compliance requirements.
  • Track critical milestones closely, spot risks early and prevent schedule slips.
  • Check that sound project governance, processes and systems are in use, and bring in best practice on every project.
  • Monitor several construction projects at once to confirm approved design standards are applied correctly.
  • Oversee supplier interfaces through monthly trackers and weekly reviews.
  • Keep project information flowing across the team through regular meetings and written updates.
  • Write formal project status reports and any other reports needed.
  • Forecast and update key milestones.
  • Oversee local design teams against commissioning criteria.
  • Give technical support to owners, architects, general contractors and regional stakeholders, and respond quickly to field RFIs.
  • Advise on cost control, value engineering and constructability where needed.
  • Review status reports, drawing submissions, timelines and costs from architects, contractors and suppliers independently.
  • Help build strong client relationships that open up new work.
  • Advise project teams on approaches that meet both client and company objectives.
  • Capture key information and lessons from each project.
  • Look for ways to improve internal systems and processes.
  • You may also take on SOX control duties, which must be followed where they apply.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 5-7 years of relevant project management experience.
  • Strong organisation and management skills, and the ability to work well with the wider team.
  • Effective presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Procore and other construction project management tools.
  • Excellent communication skills.
