Description

The company runs one platform for business accounts, hedging and financing, helping businesses operate and grow across borders. Founded in 2009, it is a fast-growing fintech with 2000+ staff in nearly 70 cities.

Title: Senior Product Manager (Anti Money Laundering/Transaction Monitoring), in the Product, FinCrime team.

As the company adds embedded payments, cards and stablecoin rails, AML controls are moving to the centre of product strategy.

You will join the Financial Crime Intelligence Product domain as domain lead for Transaction Monitoring across fiat, crypto, card and hybrid payment flows. You report to the Head of Financial Crime Intelligence Product and work with First Line, Compliance, Engineering and Data.

The goal is controls that scale and hold up with regulators, while supporting growth on traditional and digital asset rails under different product and vertical compliance frameworks.

Success means Transaction Monitoring that scales across new products, verticals and rails, a measurable drop in false positives without added regulatory risk, and predictive models that Compliance and regulators trust.

Responsibilities

  • Own the Transaction Monitoring product area and set its strategy in line with domain goals and company direction.
  • Turn that strategy into a clear, actionable roadmap covering fiat-to-fiat, fiat-to-crypto (mainly stablecoins), crypto-to-crypto and card spend.
  • Make growth versus risk trade-offs deliberately.
  • Use data and research to find pain points, investigate anomalies and deliver optimisations.
  • Define and update monitoring rules, scenarios, risk typologies and predictive AI models for each compliance framework, including Crypto Travel Rule requirements.
  • Reduce false positives, raise alert quality and make operations scale.
  • Work with first and second line operations and compliance teams so controls are effective, explainable and audit-ready.
  • Support regulatory reviews and audits with clear product narratives.
  • Partner with Data Science on predictive transaction models, covering inputs, outputs and thresholds. You do not need to build machine learning models, but you must understand how they behave in production.
  • Turn regulatory and AML requirements into clear product requirements.
  • With Engineering, manage vendor integrations such as blockchain analytics and travel rule tools, along with event schemas, transaction data models, performance and scalability.

Requirements

  • Background in fintech, crypto, payments or regulated financial services.
  • 4+ years as a Product Manager.
  • 2+ years working on AML or Transaction Monitoring products.
  • Hands-on work with crypto transaction monitoring, especially stablecoins, or VASP compliance.
  • Experience with blockchain analytics tools such as Chainalysis, TRM, Elliptic or similar.
  • Experience with travel rule tools such as Notabene, Sumsub or similar.
  • Track record leading vendor evaluations, integrations and performance management.
  • Analytical mindset and comfort in system design discussions.
  • Proven ability to influence across functions and regions to align teams and deliver results.
  • Nice to have: a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
  • Nice to have: experience building platforms that serve both B2B and B2B2C use cases.
