Description

The company is a buy now pay later leader in France and operates in 10 European countries. Its installment and deferred payment products lift merchant sales by 20% or more, build customer loyalty and make shopping smoother, without encouraging bad debt.

It serves over 25,000 merchants and 10 million consumers, has 400+ staff and €100M+ ARR, and is growing fast across Europe as a member of the Next40.

You join the Checkout Experience squad in the consumer tribe and report to Tetiana, Group Product Manager. The squad includes an Engineering Manager and several software engineers, and works on consumer checkout across online and in-store journeys.

As a Senior Product Manager you contribute as an individual and own strategy for checkout conversion, account creation and identity verification. You balance consumer experience, merchant needs, business results and regulation.

Responsibilities

  • Make checkout simpler and more effective across e-commerce and in-store, cutting friction and lifting conversion.
  • Own account creation and identity verification, fitting KYC and CCD2 rules into clear, smooth customer flows.
  • Study funnels, customer insight and experiment results to find opportunities, measure impact and keep improving the product.
  • Prioritise the roadmap with cross-functional partners, weighing consumer, merchant, business, risk and compliance needs.
  • Use Slack for daily cross-functional communication.
  • Use Notion for product documentation, briefs and roadmaps.
  • Use Linear to manage the backlog and track delivery.
  • Use Figma for product design.
  • Use Metabase and Looker for data analysis.

Requirements

  • You have proven experience as a Product Manager on checkout, e-commerce, payments or another high-volume consumer transaction product.
  • You understand conversion funnels and experimentation, and use data to spot opportunities, set success metrics and rank initiatives.
  • You turn complex customer needs, business limits and regulatory demands into simple, intuitive product experiences.
  • You take strong ownership, solve problems in a structured way, collaborate well across teams and use AI tools to improve your product work.
  • It will be nice if you have experience with account creation, identity verification, authentication, KYC or fraud prevention.
  • It will be nice if you have built products in regulated settings, ideally in payments, BNPL, lending, consumer finance or other financial services.
  • It will be nice if you have worked on in-store, POS or omnichannel experiences.
  • It will be nice if you have experience in European markets or an interest in emerging purchase journeys, such as agentic commerce and AI-assisted transactions.
  • Candidates who do not meet every requirement are still encouraged to apply, as potential, curiosity and the ability to grow count for as much as experience.
