Description

The company has been advancing computer graphics, PC gaming and accelerated computing for over 25 years, and is now applying AI to shape the next generation of computing, where its GPUs serve as the processing core for computers, robots and self-driving cars that can interpret the world.

The company is hiring a Product Manager to plan, define the roadmap for and deliver Omniverse rendering technologies, the ovrtx library and sensor simulation workflows.

The role combines real-time rendering, physically based simulation, synthetic data generation, robotics, autonomous systems, industrial digital twins and physical AI. You will help build the rendering and sensor simulation base that lets developers and enterprises create detailed virtual worlds, produce useful synthetic data, assess perception systems and test AI models before they reach the real world.

The company uses AI tools in its recruiting process. Applications will be accepted at least until November 3, 2026. This posting is for an existing vacancy.

Responsibilities

  • Set the product direction and roadmap for Omniverse rendering features, ovrtx and sensor simulation workflows.
  • Define AI-ready simulation workflows for synthetic data generation, perception model evaluation, robotics simulation, autonomous systems validation and digital twin testing.
  • Turn customer needs into product requirements covering rendering quality, sensor fidelity, performance, scalability, usability and workflow integration.
  • Work with engineering teams on path tracing, ray tracing, materials, lighting, camera models, sensor realism, annotation outputs and simulation pipeline architecture.
  • Align rendering and sensor simulation capabilities with the needs of AI, robotics, computer vision and simulation teams for model training, inference, testing and evaluation.
  • Set roadmap requirements for scenario coverage, domain randomization, sensor configuration, sim-to-real validation, dataset generation and automated quality checks.
  • Explore AI-assisted approaches to scene generation, material authoring, lighting setup, sensor configuration, scenario creation and developer productivity.
  • Set priorities across developer APIs, SDKs, tools, documentation, examples, integrations and reference workflows.
  • Work closely with customers, field teams and ecosystem partners to identify production problems, adoption blockers and new use cases.

Requirements

  • A BS or MS in Computer Science, or equivalent experience, with 12+ years of overall experience.
  • 5+ years in product management, technical product management, engineering, solution architecture or a related field.
  • Solid grasp of real-time rendering, ray tracing, path tracing, physically based rendering or GPU-accelerated graphics.
  • Experience with simulation workflows, synthetic data, robotics, autonomous systems, computer vision, digital twins or industrial simulation.
  • Demonstrated understanding of AI/ML workflows such as model training, inference, evaluation, perception pipelines or synthetic data generation.
  • Ability to turn AI, robotics and autonomous systems requirements into priorities for rendering, sensor simulation and the developer platform.
  • Experience working with APIs, SDKs, developer tools, technical customers and engineering-led product teams.
  • Strong technical writing skills for product requirements, roadmap narratives, workflow documentation and launch materials.
  • A consistent record of setting priorities across complex technical areas and driving delivery with cross-functional teams.
  • Nice to have: experience with Omniverse, OpenUSD, RTX, ovrtx, Isaac Sim, Cosmos, CUDA or related the company simulation and rendering technologies.
  • Nice to have: familiarity with camera, LiDAR, radar, depth, segmentation, optical flow, event camera or other simulated sensor types.
  • Nice to have: experience with physical AI, embodied AI, robotics foundation models, VLMs, world models, neural rendering or generative AI for 3D and world creation.
  • Nice to have: background in graphics, computer vision, robotics, simulation, game engines, high-performance computing or AI infrastructure.
  • Nice to have: familiarity with AI-assisted development, coding agents, automated testing, evaluation harnesses or workflow automation.
