Description

You will manage and develop the omnichannel design system that teams use to create, assemble and deliver customer-facing content for every brand and market.

You treat the system as a product, owning its component library, design tokens, usage rules, documentation and governance. The work sits in the content supply chain and covers Adobe Creative Suite, Figma and emerging AI tools.

You report to the Director, Content Creation & Storage. You coordinate others' work in a matrixed setup without formal direct reports.

Success means one system in active use across brands and regions, with clear ownership, a predictable release cadence, and content that is faster to produce and more consistent.

Responsibilities

  • Set the vision, roadmap and release plan for one shared set of components, patterns and tokens across all brands and regions.
  • Turn brand identity, accessibility needs and channel requirements into standards and reusable components that teams can apply as written.
  • Oversee how Figma, Supernova and developer environments connect, so tokens remain the trusted source for engineers and AI code generation.
  • Set up versioning, deprecation and contribution processes so the system can change without breaking existing brand and market assets.
  • Maintain the Figma component library and token structure, keeping it organised, documented and ready for design-to-development handoff.
  • Run intake, design review, quality control and approval for new or changed components.
  • Keep design assets aligned with production so components reach campaigns and content across Adobe Creative Suite, Figma and AI-enabled tools.
  • Drive adoption among brands, markets and agencies through documentation, onboarding, training and hands-on design help.
  • Write and publish content standards covering modular structures, naming, metadata and usage guidance.
  • Work with agencies and internal creative teams so new work starts from the system, and use their feedback to improve it.
  • Define how AI-generated content is created, reviewed and governed, including templates, prompts and guardrails for brand and compliance.
  • Assess new design and content technologies and recommend where they could improve speed, quality or consistency.
  • Pilot new approaches with selected brands or markets, measure the results and scale what works.
  • Define and track KPIs for reuse, consistency, adoption by brand and market, accessibility conformance and content cycle time.
  • Partner with product, brand, creative, technology and market teams to align design priorities with the content supply chain roadmap.
  • Report progress, risks and the decisions needed to leadership.

Requirements

  • You have 6+ years in product management, design systems, or digital and brand delivery at enterprise scale, in agencies or technology companies, within complex matrixed settings.
  • You have owned a design system end to end in an enterprise, agency or in-house brand team, including components, tokens, pattern documentation, versioning and contribution models.
  • You know Figma well, including component architecture, variables, shared libraries and handoff, and you work comfortably in Adobe Creative Suite.
  • You have used Supernova or similar tools alongside engineering environments such as Storybook and GitHub to manage tokens, automate documentation and connect design files to code.
  • You have worked with brand, creative, agency, engineering and market stakeholders to align standards with identity, campaigns and channel needs.
  • You have applied AI-generated content in design or content production, including template and prompt design, quality control and guardrails for regulated use.
  • You can apply content standards and rules, including modular models, reusable assets, metadata, naming and accessibility requirements.
  • You understand regulated or compliance-sensitive environments and can build governance, consistency and quality into design and content standards.
  • You have delivered design systems across several brands and regions within an omnichannel content supply chain, including Adobe Creative Suite, Figma and AI-enabled solutions.
  • You hold a bachelor's degree in design, human-computer interaction, marketing, communications, technology or a related field. An advanced degree is preferred.
  • Preferred: GitHub experience.
  • You think like a product owner, treating the system as a living product with a vision, roadmap, release cadence and measurable adoption.
  • You communicate well and influence brand, creative, agency and market teams at every level of seniority.
  • You bring strong design craft and systems thinking, with attention to consistency, accessibility and modularity across channels.
  • You are analytical and outcome-focused, defining KPIs for reuse, consistency and adoption and acting on what the data shows.
  • You lead through others, work through ambiguity, and balance competing brand and market priorities.
