Description

The company is a consumer fintech platform with more than 6 million members, offering financial products that work together to help everyday Americans manage their money. It is based in NYC.

You will join the Liquidity team, which builds products that help members bridge the gap between paychecks. This is a hands-on role where you own discovery and execution for your area from start to finish, write your own specs, and work closely with leaders who make key decisions.

The Liquidity products are early access to earned pay and fee-free overdraft. They involve complex eligibility rules, risk models, bank partners, and compliance, yet the member experience has to stay simple and clear.

Responsibilities

  • Build and own the roadmap for your area, and make the case for what belongs in it
  • Run discovery from start to finish: frame the problem, research it, size the opportunity, and recommend a direction
  • Write specs and own timelines through launch
  • Work with backend engineering, frontend engineering, design, and data
  • Coordinate with risk, data, engineering, design, product marketing, and compliance to ship
  • Make complex products easy for members to understand
  • Measure results and use the learnings to shape the roadmap
  • Use AI tools every day for drafting specs, analyzing data, prototyping, and summarizing research

Requirements

  • 6+ years of product management experience, mostly on B2C products
  • You have set the roadmap for a product area and have taken projects from discovery through launch on your own
  • You write clear specs, own timelines, and follow work through to launch
  • You have worked with both backend and frontend engineering teams
  • You have shipped B2C products at scale and can turn complex products into simple ones
  • You are comfortable in a hands-on setting and work closely with leaders who make key decisions
  • You work well with many stakeholders across risk, data, engineering, design, product marketing, and compliance
  • You take high ownership, care about quality, adapt well, and want to keep learning
  • You are fluent with AI tools in your own work and look for ways they can speed up the team
