Description

You will be a Senior Product Manager in the Financial Crime Intelligence Product domain, leading Transaction Monitoring across fiat, crypto, card and hybrid payment flows.

The team is Product - FinCrime and the role reports to the Head of Financial Crime Intelligence Product.

You will work across First Line, Compliance, Engineering and Data to build controls that scale and that regulators can rely on, while supporting growth on traditional and digital asset payment rails with different compliance frameworks by product and vertical.

The company is expanding into embedded payments, cards and stablecoins, so anti-money laundering controls now shape product strategy more directly.

The company provides business accounts, hedging and financing on one platform, helping businesses operate and scale globally. It was founded in 2009, has more than 2000 staff across nearly 70 cities and runs its own proprietary platform.

Responsibilities

  • Own the Transaction Monitoring product area and set its strategy in line with the domain's goals and the company's direction.
  • Turn that strategy into a clear, practical roadmap covering fiat to fiat, fiat to crypto (mainly stablecoins), crypto to crypto and card spend.
  • Define and refine monitoring rules, scenarios, risk typologies and predictive AI models for each compliance framework, including Crypto Travel Rule requirements.
  • Reduce false positives, improve alert quality and make operations easier to scale.
  • Use data and research to find pain points, investigate anomalies and ship improvements.
  • Weigh growth against risk in each decision.
  • Work with first and second line operations and compliance teams so controls are effective, explainable and ready for audit.
  • Partner with Data Science on predictive models, covering inputs, outputs and thresholds. You do not need to build machine learning models, but you must understand how they behave in production.
  • Support regulatory reviews and audits with clear product narratives.
  • Turn regulatory and AML requirements into product requirements.
  • Work with Engineering on vendor integrations such as blockchain analytics and travel rule tools, plus event schemas, transaction data models, performance and scalability.

Requirements

  • Experience in fintech, crypto, payments or regulated financial services.
  • 4+ years working as a Product Manager.
  • 2+ years on AML or Transaction Monitoring products.
  • Hands-on experience with crypto transaction monitoring, particularly stablecoins, or with VASP compliance.
  • Experience with blockchain analytics tools such as Chainalysis, TRM, Elliptic or similar.
  • Experience with travel rule tools such as Notabene, Sumsub or similar.
  • Experience leading vendor evaluations, integrations and performance management.
  • Analytical thinking and comfort with system design discussions.
  • Proven ability to influence across functions and geographies to align teams and deliver.
  • Nice to have: a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
  • Nice to have: experience building platforms that serve both B2B and B2B2C use cases.
  • Success means Transaction Monitoring scales across new products, verticals and rails, false positives fall measurably without higher regulatory risk, and Compliance and regulators trust the predictive models.
