Description

The company helps growing businesses move money across borders, with a focus on giving small and medium-sized businesses access to more currencies and payment corridors.

This Product Manager role sits on the Money Flows platform, which keeps adding new products, features and wider access to currencies and corridors.

You will shape the vision, strategy and delivery for one domain inside Money Flows, working from first idea through to launch.

The platform brings business accounts, hedging and financing together in one place with a smooth workflow. The company was founded in 2009, is a fast-growing fintech, and has more than 2000 people across nearly 70 cities.

The company is looking for people who are results-driven and keen to keep learning.

Responsibilities

  • Own a key product area within Money Flows and set its direction, from the reason it exists to the detailed how.
  • Keep the area aligned with the long-term product vision while balancing new features, technical debt and experiments.
  • Carry out market and competitive analysis to spot opportunities and threats in your product domain.
  • Manage the backlog for your area and be accountable for hitting the agreed success metrics.
  • Turn regulatory changes and rulebooks into concrete requirements for money flows.
  • Work with engineering as your main stakeholder and make sure delivery is timely and high quality across the full development cycle.
  • Bring fluency in SWIFT, SEPA or FPS API implementation and an understanding of payment flows across banking, card and scheme rails.
  • Collect client feedback and turn their needs into clear requirements that make payments run as smoothly as possible.
  • Run regular show-and-tell sessions to share feature updates, product decisions and trade-offs.
  • Be the go-to person for your product, answering queries and giving stakeholders clarity.
  • Understand the product architecture and technology stack well enough to discuss the technical constraints that affect development.
  • Make day-to-day decisions in your area with minimal supervision.
  • Onboard and mentor newer or junior team members on processes, the product and payment context.

Requirements

  • The role calls for a mix of technical product leadership and deep domain expertise, often gained in top-tier consulting or banking.
  • Consulting: at least 3-5 years at Accenture or a Big4 firm, working on financial services or payments transformation projects.
  • Banking or financial services: at least 2 years in fintech or a bank, working in the payment chain.
  • Product management: at least 2 years in product at a fintech, where you launched and scaled complex, regulated financial products.

Conditions

Hybrid working: 4 days a week in the Madrid office and 1 day working from home.

The office is in central Madrid with excellent transport links.

The company is committed to inclusion and opposes discrimination in all forms.

Benefits

  • A competitive starting salary plus an annual discretionary bonus linked to your performance from day one.
  • Mentorship from experienced managers who are invested in your success.
  • Tailored, state-of-the-art tools and systems that help you perform at your best.
