Description

The company is hiring a senior product manager for its data platform. You will own the backend data architecture and core data capabilities behind its Analytics and Intelligence products.

The role calls for product management skill, working knowledge of data platforms, and the ability to turn complicated business and analytical needs into data products that scale and stay reliable in a SaaS setting where things change quickly and are often unclear.

Ideal candidate: a product manager who is technically fluent and focused on results. You can turn complex backend data infrastructure into reusable data products, connect business, analytics, and engineering needs, build solid data foundations, and speed up delivery of customer-facing analytics and intelligence features.

Responsibilities

  • Set the strategy, roadmap, and delivery plan for core data platform features that support analytics, reporting, and AI/ML work.
  • Specify requirements for backend data structures, data models, pipelines, and data services so analytics stay scalable, consistent, and fast.
  • Work closely with engineering, data science, analytics, and product teams to convert business needs into clear data product requirements.
  • Push forward data standardization, quality, governance, accessibility, and reuse across product lines.
  • Set clear success measures for reliability, performance, scalability, cost efficiency, and business value of data.
  • Weigh long-term platform investment against near-term product and customer needs, and manage priorities and technical dependencies.

Requirements

  • 5 to 8+ years of product management experience, with substantial work on data platforms, analytics, or enterprise data products.
  • Solid understanding of data architecture, data modeling, ETL/ELT pipelines, data warehouses, lakehouses, APIs, and cloud data infrastructure.
  • Track record defining data products for business intelligence, advanced analytics, and AI/ML applications.
  • Familiarity with GCP and modern data technologies.
  • Able to work with data engineering and architecture teams and weigh technical trade-offs without being a hands-on engineer.
  • Strong skills in product discovery, requirements definition, roadmap prioritization, stakeholder management, and agile delivery.
  • Highly desirable: experience with retail, pricing, promotions, or merchandising data.
  • Comfortable in fast-paced, ambiguous settings, with a sense of ownership, adaptability, strong problem-solving, and a bias toward action.
