The company builds a financial operating system for French SMEs and accounting firms, and plans to extend it across Europe.
It helps business owners cut the time spent on accounting and finance admin and gives them the information to make better decisions.
The company is one of the fastest-growing fintechs in France and is expanding into Europe.
In five years it has built an accounting and finance platform, raised €225 million from investors including Sequoia, and grown from 7 co-founders to more than 850 staff across over 25 nationalities in a remote-friendly setup.
It serves more than 700,000 SMEs and 4,500 accounting firms in France and has won the trust of thousands of customers.
Product sits at the centre of how the company creates value, and it is making a major AI bet to automate workflows and change how people use financial software.
The AI work has four layers: a shared platform giving agents context, memory, tools, skills, loops, guardrails and observability; a conversational assistant that helps users analyse information and act; an automation layer that reduces manual data entry; and the builder product this role owns.
The builder lets customers describe a goal and have AI create, configure and deploy a personal app, automation or agent inside the software, without starting from zero.
The role is for a senior product manager who wants to help customers extend their financial software through AI and to shape how AI products get built at scale.
Responsibilities
Set the vision and strategy for the builder, choosing the customer problems and use cases to target and balancing ambition, ease of use and technical feasibility.
Own the end-to-end building experience: customers define their goal, configure data, context, tools and actions, test and refine, deploy inside the software, then monitor usage and improve.
Work with the shared AI platform team so customers can reach and use the underlying capabilities, including context, memory, tools, skills, agent loops, guardrails, permissions, reliability, observability and deployment.
Define the metrics that matter and how success is measured, depending on the stage of the product, such as adoption, the number and quality of creations, successful deployments and repeat use, customer value, reliability, trust, satisfaction and new capabilities built by customers.
Run continuous discovery with SMEs, accountants and internal users, and turn their complex problems into clear product opportunities.
Define the product vision, strategy, roadmap and OKRs.
Prototype, test and ship ideas through experiments and MVPs, working closely with engineers and designers from discovery through iteration.
Explain AI concepts in plain terms to non-technical users and build clear product narratives for customers, stakeholders and leadership.
Balance long-term ambition with pragmatic, incremental delivery, collaborate with the teams behind the platform, the assistant and automation, and help set product principles for AI experiences.
Influence without authority across a complex, fast-growing organisation.
This is a hands-on role: you explore, prototype and test, rather than only specifying what to build.
Help shape how Product approaches AI, including how AI products are built, how their value is explained and how customers come to trust them.
First month: complete onboarding, learn the accounting and finance workflows supported, get to know the AI ecosystem, meet stakeholders in Product, Engineering, Design and AI, speak with customers and internal users, and form an initial view of the opportunity and its risks.
By three months: have a clear view of the key customer problems and use cases, contribute to or shape the strategy, identify the first opportunities and bets, work on initial prototypes or MVPs with engineering and design, set first metrics and discovery routines, and build relationships across the wider AI ecosystem.
By six months: steer the roadmap on your own, ship meaningful improvements or a major milestone, understand what drives adoption, value and trust, have a repeatable approach to AI product experiences, and influence how other teams use AI.
Over time, as the builder scales, possible growth includes creating a new product category, extending the platform to more advanced customer builds, shaping the broader AI strategy, setting product principles and methods, mentoring product managers, and moving into product leadership or staying a senior individual contributor.
Requirements
Proven experience as a product manager on AI-powered products, developer tools, platforms, workflow automation, SaaS or other complex B2B products.
Experience taking a product or product area from zero to one, turning an ambitious vision into a concrete, focused roadmap.
Solid grasp of building and using AI products, including agents, LLM-powered workflows, tools, context, memory, evaluation and guardrails.
Strong product sense and the ability to find where AI creates real user value rather than adding it for its own sake.
A hands-on, pragmatic approach: you prototype, test ideas, analyse data and work closely with engineers and designers.
Strong user research skills and the ability to build conviction through direct conversations with customers.
Clear communication: you explain complex technical topics simply and build a compelling product narrative.
Strategic thinking combined with a bias toward action and delivery.
Comfort working through ambiguity and complex technical, organisational and customer problems.
Ability to influence without authority and align Product, Engineering, Design and leadership.
Genuine interest in the future of software, automation and extensible product platforms.
Fintech, accounting or financial software experience is not required; curiosity about the industry and comfort with complexity matter more.
French is not required, though it would be a strong advantage.
Nice to have: experience with agent platforms, developer ecosystems, low-code or no-code tools, workflow automation, open platforms or product-led growth.
