The company is a consumer intelligence firm that merged with GfK in 2023. It is an Advent International portfolio company and works in more than 100 markets, covering over 90% of the world's population.
This role leads the analytical products in the Store Intelligence portfolio: location intelligence, Gen AI features, and APIs and platform capabilities built on the company's store reference data.
You will turn customer and business needs into a product roadmap and prioritised requirements, shape the wider Store Intelligence strategy, and work with engineering, data science, design, operations, and commercial teams to ship data-driven products that are refreshed continuously and available to clients.
The role suits someone who enjoys building location intelligence and Gen AI analytics on consumer-facing store data and who can drive delivery through influence rather than authority.
Responsibilities
Help shape the Store Intelligence vision set by the Product Director, and own the direction for the location analytics product line in line with company goals, client needs, and market shifts.
Keep the analytical line useful to Manufacturers, Retailers, Distributors, Agentic Commerce firms, and Digital Platform Providers, working with the sister product line that supplies the store reference data.
Write and share the roadmap for the analytical line, keeping it consistent with the wider Store Intelligence roadmap, business goals, and client needs.
Lead cross-functional squads through influence, working with data scientists, engineers, designers, operations, and commercial colleagues to build a collaborative, inventive, and accountable team.
Coach colleagues and delivery partners, offer subject-matter guidance, and help improve how the team practises product management.
Study location intelligence, retail analytics, and Gen AI markets to spot trends, client needs, gaps in the portfolio, growth openings, and rival offers.
Talk with customers, market teams, sales, and delivery staff to learn how the analytics are used, collect feedback, and turn it into product changes and new offerings.
Own the full lifecycle of assigned analytical capabilities, such as location analytics, Gen AI features, APIs, and partner or platform integrations, from discovery and business case through requirements, delivery, launch, adoption, and continuous improvement.
Maintain and rank the backlog, write clear requirements and acceptance criteria for analytical methods, user experience, APIs, performance, and delivery, and work with engineering, data science, and design to deliver quality features on schedule.
Apply Gen AI, data, and analytics inside the products, such as natural-language querying, automated insights, and agentic workflows, and use usage data to guide product decisions and better user experiences.
Set and track KPIs including adoption, usage, API consumption, insight accuracy, time-to-value, revenue, and customer satisfaction to measure success and guide improvements.
Explain priorities, trade-offs, plans, risks, and results clearly to internal stakeholders, senior leadership, and external partners.
Work with sales, marketing, market teams, and client delivery to shape packaging and positioning, support go-to-market plans, and help launches and adoption succeed.
Requirements
7+ years of product management experience, including ownership of complex data, analytics, platform, or location-based products.
Hands-on experience building analytical or location intelligence products on reference data, including defining use cases, integrating through APIs and platforms, and applying Gen AI to data products.
Working knowledge of how store and location reference data is sourced, harmonised, and kept high quality.
Proven ability to lead through influence, align stakeholders with different goals, weigh trade-offs, and guide cross-functional teams under pressure.
Solid understanding of data products, APIs, analytics, Gen AI and LLM applications, geospatial data, data science, and software development processes, plus the company's internal platforms and operational workflows.
Strong strategic thinking, with the ability to read market trends and turn them into practical product plans.
Excellent written and verbal communication, able to explain complex ideas to technical and non-technical audiences.
Real commitment to understanding both stated and unstated customer needs and delivering results that go beyond expectations.
