Description

The company's platform supports security and risk use cases. This senior principal solution architect is the functional and technical authority who advises customers on rolling these out in line with proven practice, helping them reach business results faster and helping the company build out this practice.

The work targets the customer problems that matter most. You support sales, work directly with customers and partners, and carry customer needs back to the company's product management, customer and partner excellence, and training and certification teams.

You bring architecture guidance, knowledge of industry business issues, deep product skill, new ideas, and accumulated know-how to customers and partners.

Responsibilities

  • Lead pre-sales work: present to prospects, run solutioning and scoping workshops, write statements of work with clear deliverables and effort estimates, define scope and flag when a change order is needed, and size engagements with services account executives and sales staff.
  • Act as a lead member of the engagement team, connecting security and risk workflow applications to the customer's technology landscape and advising on governance best practice.
  • Brief senior leaders, including CXOs, on the implementation roadmap and on managing change.
  • Work with the platform architect team to find platform risks in customer environments before they become problems.
  • Serve as practice director on high-profile security and risk accounts: lead delivery teams, provide oversight and technical depth, and make sure delivery standards are followed.
  • Design and deliver security and risk solutions with an architecture built to last, following the company's technical standards and best practice.
  • Design solutions for common customer use cases and publish them for solution consultants, the customer community, and others.
  • Build productive working relationships with security and risk product owners and stakeholders so the field knows what capabilities and roadmap items exist.
  • Run office hours, presentations, webinars, and learning sessions for advisory, delivery, and go-to-market staff, showing customer use cases and wins.
  • Work with the customer and partner excellence team to keep improving delivery and engagement materials.
  • Enable and mentor the company's delivery team and partner ecosystem.
  • Write documentation and service offerings that promote the company's services.
  • Work across other risk and security areas when needed to keep your utilization targets on track.
  • Travel up to 20% of the year, depending on customer needs and internal meetings.

Requirements

  • 12+ years in a professional services organization, or equivalent education and experience.
  • 8+ years of consulting and/or configuration work implementing complex technologies, including integrations and portals.
  • 5+ years implementing security and risk solutions on the company's platform.
  • Strong experience with TPRM, USEM, VR, SIR, IRM (RC, TPRM, BCM), OpsRes, and AI Control Tower.
  • Strong grasp of the risk and security regulatory landscape and standards such as FFIEC, DORA, OpsRes, SEC, OCC, and SOX.
  • Working knowledge of NIST CSF and other industry-specific frameworks.
  • Experience with adjacent domains such as asset management, service management, CMDB, and risk and security, including ITOM modules (Event Management, Discovery, CMDB, Service Graph Connectors).
  • Strong understanding of Now Assist, RaptorDB, and Vault ZTA.
  • Experience with cross-functional solutions and architecture in large, heavily regulated enterprises such as FSI and HCLS.
  • Experience applying AI to work processes, decisions, or problem-solving, such as AI-powered tools, workflow automation, AI-driven insights, or how AI changes the function or industry.
  • Proven ability to influence and advise senior leaders in a matrixed organization: identify needs, present options with pros, cons, and risks, and offer thought leadership to sponsors and stakeholders.
  • A customer-first attitude, willingness to go the extra mile, and the drive to remove barriers to customer success.
  • Ability to work with technical and non-technical customers, gather requirements, analyze information, and design complete solutions.
  • Ability to produce visually rich conceptual design documents for readers with varied business and technical backgrounds.
  • Experience presenting solutions and getting customers to accept the design.
  • Skill at building trust and engaging audiences, whether remote or in person.
