Description

The company provides rack-scale AI infrastructure through purpose-built connectivity products, working with hyperscalers and ecosystem partners. Its Intelligent Connectivity Platform combines CXL, Ethernet, NVLink, PCIe, and UALink semiconductor technologies with its COSMOS software suite to build scale-up and scale-out systems. A separate custom connectivity business builds tailored architectures on top of its standards-based portfolio.

This is a strategic talent advisory role for executive leaders. You will help the company see its leadership needs before a requisition opens and turn business priorities into executive talent strategies that support its next stage of growth.

You will work more than six months ahead of expected hiring, combining semiconductor and silicon market intelligence with a detailed understanding of the organization. The role is fully on-site in San Jose and will shape how this hyper-growth company builds the leadership capacity needed for rack-scale AI infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • Work with executive leaders to understand business priorities, organizational design, and capability gaps across the company.
  • Build rolling six-month executive talent plans that anticipate leadership needs well before roles are approved or posted.
  • Turn growth plans into clear advice on which capabilities, leadership profiles, and talent pools to prioritize.
  • Study semiconductor and silicon talent markets, competitor moves, talent supply, and leadership trends to guide planning.
  • Work with stakeholders to identify emerging capability needs, agree on future leadership priorities, and design proactive talent strategies.
  • Use market insight and organizational context to test assumptions, sharpen role definitions, and direct investment in critical talent.
  • Maintain relationships with high-impact executives long before a requisition opens, building lasting pipelines for future priorities.
  • Build targeted talent maps for engineering and other executive functions across the semiconductor ecosystem.
  • Design engagement plans that keep priority talent connected to the company's mission, technology, and long-term opportunity.
  • Advise senior stakeholders on leadership profiles, assessment criteria, and timing for opening critical roles.
  • Set a clear search strategy and decision framework, then lead execution from kickoff to close in line with the wider talent plan.
  • Send concise executive-level updates linking talent-market signals, organizational gaps, and recommended actions.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of recruiting or talent acquisition experience, with at least 5 years in executive recruiting.
  • Proven recruiting experience in the semiconductor, silicon, or adjacent hardware technology industry.
  • Ability to grasp organizational priorities, diagnose leadership gaps, and convert business needs into proactive talent plans.
  • A record of advising VP, C-suite, and other executive-level stakeholders on critical talent decisions.
  • A record of closing candidates from Senior Director through C-suite roles, handling complex motivations, stakeholders, and offers.
  • Strong judgment, discretion, and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders in a quick-moving environment.
  • Preferred: experience leading executive talent reviews, succession planning, workforce planning, or organization-design initiatives.
  • Preferred: experience building talent intelligence frameworks that link business strategy, capability gaps, market data, and future hiring priorities.
  • Preferred: long-term relationships with senior leaders across semiconductor, silicon, hardware, systems, or related AI infrastructure markets.
  • Preferred: experience advising CEOs, executive leadership teams, and board-level stakeholders on multi-year leadership planning.
  • Preferred: experience recruiting across several executive functions, such as engineering, product, operations, sales, or go-to-market leadership.
