Description

The Partner Marketing team helps the company reach more people by educating, engaging, and enabling partners worldwide to create awareness and demand for their solutions and services built on the company's platform. The team recruits prospective partners and supports existing ones as they build, launch, market, and grow through the partner ecosystem. You will work with GTM partnerships, product partnerships, sales, and product marketing. Partner types range from large technology and platform companies to connectors, agencies, and independent experts who build on the platform daily.

The company's platform lets people without formal software training create products, handling real infrastructure such as authentication, databases, payments, and deployment. Over 70 million projects have been built on it, and hundreds of thousands of people pay for it. Because people run real businesses on it, the platform's safety, security, and reliability matter a great deal, and the team needs to explain how the company approaches them clearly, honestly, and quickly when questions arise.

Responsibilities

  • Build and run partner marketing initiatives across the full partner ecosystem, starting with connectors and integration partners, whose roster is growing quickly across search, communications, CRM, and data. Launches, positioning, and demand generation for these connectors come first.
  • Work with the company Partner Program team on co-marketing campaigns and programs at scale that bring in and activate customers, helping partners grow their businesses on the platform.
  • Set and own the company's marketing with, to, and through partners, and execute hands-on across a high-volume, fast-moving roster.
  • Partner with GTM Partnerships, Product Partnerships, Sales, and (Product) Marketing to build go-to-market initiatives for connector and integration partners, hyperscalers, and services partners.
  • Set priorities, investment approach, scaling methods, and success measures for each partner type, with connectors at the top given their size and growth.
  • Own and evolve the tiering framework that sets marketing investment per partner, and keep it manageable as the partner count rises.
  • Administer and optimize market development funds (MDF), and create joint go-to-market plans to fully use committed co-marketing budgets.
  • Create and run a system to intake and prioritize inbound co-marketing requests from partners.
  • Drive adoption of scalable marketing and enablement programs across partners, and represent partner marketing in the wider GTM and marketing roadmap.
  • Work with GTM teams, including marketing, so partners are included in initiatives in every region.

Requirements

  • Minimum requirements are listed below and are needed to be considered.
  • 8-10+ years of relevant B2B marketing experience.
  • 3+ years managing partner marketing programs or teams.
  • Experience building joint marketing plans with technology, platform, or services partners and running programs that bring in new customers and pipeline.
  • Experience running partner marketing across a large, growing ISV-style ecosystem of dozens to hundreds of partners.
  • Proven ability to influence partner marketing leaders and agree on shared objectives and plans.
  • Experience shaping joint messaging and positioning with partners.
  • Demonstrated ability to measure and improve return on marketing spend in an indirect, partner-led model, including administering MDF.
  • Solid understanding of the partner channel, funnel, sales cycle, and product lifecycle, and what each needs from partner marketing to drive revenue.
  • Bonus, not required: experience at a dynamic, high-growth tech company.
  • Bonus, not required: experience marketing developer tools, APIs, or platform and connector ecosystems.
  • Bonus, not required: experience running co-marketing and MDF programs with hyperscalers (AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure) or larger tech partners.
