Senior .NET Full-stack Developer for Industrial Risk Systems

Description

The company builds systems that help underwriters price insurance products accurately by accounting for different risk factors, serving multinational clients.

You would join one of four agile teams in the Industrial Risk Systems unit. Each team combines developers and QA engineers, working closely with business-side product owners and architects.

The team is based entirely in Riga. The stack centres on C, Entity Framework, React, Azure and ASP.NET Core, with a focus on code quality, efficient ways of working and modern architecture.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain back-end services in C using Entity Framework, ASP.NET Core and Azure.
• Develop and improve high-performance front-end features in React.
• Use AI tools to speed up development work and raise your daily output.
• Apply analytical and technical thinking to difficult problems and make everyday work easier for users.
• Write clean, maintainable code that follows modern architectural patterns.
• Work with developers, QA engineers, product owners and architects to deliver solutions the right way.

• Experience estimating development effort.
• Experience analysing business requirements.
• Strong technical, diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• At least 5 years of.NET software development experience.
• Basic understanding of Azure.
• Good knowledge of C,.NET Core, Entity Framework and MSSQL.
• Knowledge of TypeScript and React.
• Experience with the MUI React component library.
• Ability to set up and manage Azure DevOps release pipelines.
• Azure certifications.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture.

Conditions

Monthly gross salary of €4000 to €5500, depending on your qualifications.

Hybrid work, with the office as the main workplace.
