Senior .Net Developer

Its FinLabs research group develops solutions such as AI, blockchain, data science models, digital underwriting, and mobile-first applications.

You will design, build, and run code for a web application, and keep the application's quality and performance high within the organization's infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Design detailed architecture for web applications built on.NET 8 or later, React with TypeScript, and SQL Server.
• Help set and follow best practices for development standards, version control, quality control, deployment, maintenance, and change management.
• Work efficiently and professionally in an Agile team with developers, senior developers, systems administrators, and business users.
• Write detailed technical designs for developers and help them resolve technical problems.
• Propose architecture improvements and enhancements to applications.
• Work with product owners to turn requirements into technical solutions.
• Solve complex problems independently, inventing creative solutions where standard approaches fall short.
• Review code and mentor other developers.

Requirements

• At least 7 years of software development experience.
• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
• At least 5 years of experience with microservice architecture and containerized application design.
• Hands-on experience setting up projects, creating schemas, and writing queries, documents, and dashboards.
• Experience building backend APIs with.NET.
• At least 3 years of experience with front-end frameworks and toolkits such as React or Angular, and with TypeScript or JavaScript.
• Strong skills in C,.NET Core,.NET 6,.NET 8 or later, SQL, database performance tuning, Entity Framework, and LINQ.
• At least 5 years of test-driven development, writing integration, acceptance, and unit tests.
• Experience implementing AI.
• Experience with Git, which is required.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes, which are required.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines. Jenkins is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience in the banking, finance, or trading domain.
• Azure and AWS experience is preferred but not required.
• Preferred but not required: experience with UI technologies, experience in the banking or finance domain, and experience with Unix or shell scripting.

Conditions

Base salary varies by location and other factors. For this role filled in Charlotte, NC, the base salary is $90k-$100k a year, plus benefits.
