Senior Monitoring & Observability Engineer

This senior role centres on LogicMonitor and observability, combining deep technical leadership, client-facing consulting and ownership of strategic client outcomes and renewal commitments.

The role is graded at Grade 6, which places it closer to a senior engineering post than a standard infrastructure role.

The work protects confirmed and pending renewal revenue, delivers on conditional renewal commitments, keeps onshore service capability in place, maintains service for strategic clients, and lowers operational, delivery and reputational risk.

You would carry high-risk deliverables and renewal results, lead technical delivery and build team capability.

Responsibilities

• Lead uplift and remediation work across LogicMonitor environments.
• Deliver the monitoring and observability outcomes tied to renewals.
• Act as the senior escalation point and final technical authority.
• Push the platform toward greater maturity, more automation and common standards.
• Work with stakeholders so client-specific requirements are met.
• Mentor engineers and provide technical direction across the team.
• Keep delivery consistent with onshore capability commitments.

Requirements

• Advanced LogicMonitor expertise.
• Strong PowerShell scripting skills.
• Experience with Azure cloud environments.
• Experience with version control, such as Git.
• Knowledge of Windows, VMware, Cisco networking and Linux systems.
• A track record of delivering in complex enterprise customer environments.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and client-facing experience.
