Senior Java Developer

Responsibilities

• Build cloud-native microservices that expose RESTful APIs.
• Write clean, well-tested, maintainable backend code for complex systems.
• Research and prototype new frameworks and design patterns, then bring the resulting solutions to the client.
• Work with stakeholders and the development team, and coach its members.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience building backend systems with Java or Kotlin.
• Working knowledge of at least one Java framework, such as Spring, Micronaut or Dropwizard.
• Skill in building modern REST APIs.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Solid experience with unit and integration testing.
• EU citizenship is required because of the project.
• Desired: a bachelor's degree in computer science or software engineering.
• Desired: experience with Docker or Kubernetes.
• Desired: a Java certification.
• Desired: a cloud certification such as AWS, Azure or GCP.

Base pay depends on role, level, location, effort, responsibility, skill set and experience, and any offer falls within the range for the level you are assessed at: Analyst 1.400 € - 2.800 €, Senior Analyst 1.700 € - 3.800 €, Team Lead 1.900 € - 4.700 €, Associate Manager 2.400 € - 6.200 €.
