You will work with several groups at once: IT, engineering, manufacturing, quality and external vendors.

Responsibilities

  • Run complete IT/OT infrastructure projects at pharma manufacturing sites, from start to close.
  • Plan and oversee the rollout, upgrades and upkeep of OT infrastructure, including industrial networks, servers, virtualization and related systems.
  • Make IT and OT systems work together smoothly so manufacturing keeps running.

  • Keep work compliant with pharma rules, including GMP/GxP and relevant data integrity standards.
  • Coordinate infrastructure qualification and validation with the quality and validation teams.
  • Direct suppliers, system integrators and technology partners.
  • Apply industrial cybersecurity practice, covering network segmentation, access control and risk handling.
  • Handle project documentation, reporting, stakeholder updates and governance.
  • Spot project risks and dependencies, build mitigation plans and escalate when needed.
  • Deliver projects with minimal disruption to live manufacturing.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT, computer science, engineering, automation or a related field.
  • Substantial IT project management background, ideally in pharma manufacturing or another heavily regulated industry.
  • Proven record running IT/OT infrastructure projects in industrial or manufacturing settings.
  • Solid grasp of IT infrastructure: servers, virtualization, storage, networking and infrastructure services.
  • Working knowledge of OT: industrial networks, automation systems and manufacturing infrastructure.
  • Experience working in GMP/GxP-regulated environments.
  • Experience with project methods such as PMP, PRINCE2, Agile or hybrid approaches.
  • Proven skill managing cross-functional teams, budgets, schedules and external vendors.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Fluent English.
  • Strong leadership and project management skills.
  • Excellent planning, organization and coordination abilities.
  • Experience managing complex projects in regulated environments.
  • Ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Solid risk, issue and change management skills.
  • Ability to balance competing priorities and deliver results in a changing environment.
  • An advantage: knowledge of computer system validation (CSV) and/or computer software assurance (CSA).
  • Preferred: IT/OT infrastructure integration in pharma manufacturing.
  • Preferred: industrial network architecture and segmentation.
  • Preferred: server infrastructure, virtualization and data center technologies.
  • Preferred: MES, SCADA, DCS and PLC manufacturing systems.
  • Preferred: OT cybersecurity principles and industrial security frameworks.
  • Preferred: GMP-compliant infrastructure and validated systems.
  • Preferred: GAMP 5 and ISA/IEC 62443 standards, where applicable.

Conditions

Work takes place in regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities.
