Description

The company makes a form builder that more than 150,000 businesses use to collect data through forms, surveys and quizzes.

The product handles about 500 million responses a year and connects with Slack, Zapier and Hubspot.

The team is hiring a Senior IT Engineer to help change how IT works, with strong technical skills and an interest in automation, AI and better ways of working.

The role is about rethinking IT, not only keeping systems running.

You will help build an AI-first, service-led IT function that manages internal technology better, supports staff and automates routine processes.

You will work in a small team where each project has a large impact, owning meaningful work and shaping the technology roadmap as IT moves from reactive support to proactive operations.

Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of complex IT incidents, requests and technical problems as the senior escalation point, carrying them through to resolution.
  • Keep internal systems secure, reliable and scalable.
  • Apply ITIL practices to incident, change, problem and service management.
  • Improve service performance, documentation, processes and employee experience.
  • Balance daily support with longer engineering projects alongside the wider IT team.
  • Find repetitive work across IT that can be automated and improve workflows.
  • Design and deliver AI-powered solutions that raise service delivery, productivity and operational efficiency.
  • Refine onboarding, offboarding, access management and software lifecycle processes.
  • Connect systems and remove manual work using APIs, integrations, scripts and automation tools.
  • Test emerging AI technologies and turn promising ideas into working solutions with suitable security and governance.
  • Own specific IT services from spotting problems to delivering improvements, understanding stakeholder needs and ranking work by business impact.
  • Maintain roadmaps and project backlogs, and measure results through service quality, efficiency, reliability and employee experience.
  • Lead technical changes, migrations and upgrades with clear communication, risk management and planning.
  • Work with Security, People, Finance, Procurement and Engineering to deliver secure, effective technology.
  • Explain technical topics clearly to technical and non-technical colleagues, share knowledge, improve documentation and support other IT team members.
  • Help build a culture of ownership, continuous improvement and experimentation.

Requirements

  • Solid background in corporate IT engineering, systems engineering or IT service management at a modern SaaS or technology company.
  • ITIL certification and hands-on experience applying ITIL across incident, change, problem and service management.
  • Proven record of troubleshooting complex issues across identity, access, devices, applications and integrations in corporate IT.
  • Hands-on experience with modern IT environments, especially Apple devices, Okta, Google Workspace, Slack and Atlassian.
  • Experience building automation with APIs, scripting, integrations or workflow automation tools.
  • Practical use of AI to improve IT operations, support processes or internal productivity.
  • Experience with employee lifecycle work, including onboarding, offboarding, provisioning and access management.
  • Strong problem solver who takes technical challenges from investigation through to fix.
  • Product mindset, with experience prioritising improvements, managing stakeholders and delivering measurable results.
  • Clear communicator who works well with both technical and business teams.
  • Experience designing AI-driven IT workflows or introducing AI into internal service operations.
  • Familiarity with AI agents, intelligent workflow orchestration and knowledge management systems.
  • Experience integrating HR, identity, finance, asset management and IT service platforms.
  • Experience building internal tooling, dashboards or operational reporting.
  • Exposure to security, compliance, endpoint management and IT governance.
  • Experience leading technology migrations or large internal systems improvement projects.
