Senior IBM BAW Engineer

You will join the Cloud Platforms team in Athens as a Senior IBM BAW Engineer and work on clients' toughest problems with a forward-looking approach.

Responsibilities

• Build enterprise-grade, custom multi-tier applications with IBM Business Automation Workflow (BAW).
• Work closely with the wider project team, including software engineers, QA engineers, DevOps engineers, business analysts and the project manager.
• Connect BAW solutions to third-party applications and data sources using BAW REST APIs, web services and integration services.
• Design, build and maintain business process models in IBM BAW, covering BPDs (Business Process Definitions), case management and BPMN-compliant workflows.
• Turn business requirements from analysts into executable workflows in the IBM BAW Process Designer and Workflow Center.
• Develop custom coaches, coach views, service flows, integration services and Java components inside the BAW environment.
• Track and improve process performance with the IBM BAW Process Admin Console and Performance Data Warehouse, keeping BAW solutions scalable and easy to maintain.
• Manage versioning, snapshots, deployments and documentation of BAW artifacts across development, test and production.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Sciences or a related field.
• Proven experience as a senior engineer on IBM BAW or IBM BPM, versions 8.5.7, 18.x, 19.x or later.
• Solid knowledge of BPMN 2.0, process modeling and case management.
• Hands-on experience with JavaScript, Java, XML, JSON and REST or SOAP web services.
• Experience with IBM WebSphere Application Server, DB2 and related IBM middleware.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD practices for BAW deployments.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps or other version control systems such as GitHub or GitLab, task tools such as Jira, and Maven.
• Ability to write clear technical documentation and to design algorithms through analysis.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Clear, concise and professional communication, verbal and written, in both English and Greek.
• A commitment to high-quality work and to building strong client relationships.
• Familiarity with IBM Cloud Pak for Business Automation is a plus.
