Senior Full Stack Software Engineer (AI-Driven Platform)

The company builds an AI-driven platform that pharmaceutical and biotech manufacturers use to run production more efficiently and cut material waste.

The platform is still growing and combines modern software engineering with machine learning, offering analytics, automation and AI-driven insights for production processes.

You will help shape the architecture, build, and ship product features that the business depends on, working closely with international specialists.

The company serves a fast-growing AI biotech platform business whose goal is to lower production costs and reduce waste in pharmaceutical manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable full stack features for the AI biomanufacturing platform.
• Take a feature from architecture through to production release and keep it working.
• Build and maintain backend services, APIs, and frontend interfaces.
• Work with ML scientists and data engineers to bring AI capabilities into the platform.
• Raise quality through code reviews, tests, and written technical documentation.
• Coach junior engineers and help set engineering practices.
• Speak directly with pharma clients and domain experts to turn their business needs into technical solutions.
• Make the platform more reliable, scalable, and fast.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of professional full stack software engineering experience.
• Strong skills in Python or TypeScript for backend work.
• Experience with frontend development and current web technologies.
• Solid knowledge of relational databases, API design, and distributed systems.
• Track record of shipping production software where scale and reliability mattered.
• Good grasp of software architecture and engineering best practices.
• Experience with a cloud platform such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Clear communication and strong teamwork.
• English at Upper-Intermediate level or higher.
• Able to own a problem from initial discovery through to delivered solution.
• Nice to have: experience in regulated environments such as GxP, GMP, or HIPAA.
• Nice to have: familiarity with AI/ML integrations or LLM-powered products.
• Nice to have: background in life sciences, pharmaceuticals, or biomanufacturing.
• Nice to have: experience with DevOps practices and infrastructure automation.
