Senior Full Stack Software Engineer (AI-Driven Platform)

Description

The company builds an AI-driven platform that pharmaceutical and biotech manufacturers use to run production more efficiently and cut material waste.

The platform is in active growth and combines modern software engineering with machine learning, analytics, and automation.

The team works in a cross-functional setting with international experts and ML and data specialists.

This is a senior hands-on role in a product team that is scaling the platform.

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable full stack features for the platform, covering backend services, APIs, and frontend interfaces.
• Take a feature from architecture through to production deployment and own how it works.
• Work with ML scientists and data engineers to bring AI capabilities into the product.
• Raise code quality through code reviews, testing, and clear technical documentation.
• Guide junior engineers and help shape engineering practices.
• Talk with pharma clients and domain experts to turn their business needs into technical solutions.
• Improve the reliability, scalability, and performance of the platform.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of professional full stack software engineering experience.
• Solid skills in Python or TypeScript for backend work.
• Hands-on experience with frontend development and current web technologies.
• Strong grasp of relational databases, API design, and distributed systems.
• A record of shipping production software where scale and reliability mattered.
• Good knowledge of software architecture and engineering practice.
• Experience with a major cloud platform such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Upper-Intermediate English or higher.
• Ability to take ownership of a problem from discovery through to delivered solution.
• Nice to have: experience in regulated environments such as GxP, GMP, or HIPAA.
• Nice to have: familiarity with AI/ML integrations or LLM-based products.
• Nice to have: background in life sciences, pharmaceuticals, or biomanufacturing.
• Nice to have: experience with DevOps practices and infrastructure automation.
