Senior Full-Stack Engineer, Cohere Dashboard

Description

The company builds security-first foundation AI models and end-to-end products for enterprises that are building AI systems, and it trains and deploys frontier models for them.

It is a global technology company headquartered in Toronto, with offices in London, New York City, San Francisco, Montreal, Paris, Berlin and Seoul. The team includes researchers, engineers and designers.

The dashboard is where users reach the models, manage API keys and teams, review billing and read the docs. Many users start their work with the company here.

You would join a small group of software engineers working to make the dashboard's experience clear and consistent, and you would work with internal partners to do it.

Responsibilities

• Work with internal partners to create a consistent, easy-to-use experience across everything the dashboard offers.
• Write careful code for both the browser and the server, for user-facing products.
• Pair with engineers at every level, and help them grow through architecture work, documentation and talks.
• Find and clear blockers so the team can ship faster.
• Build resilient systems for mission-critical work.
• Track new technologies and adopt the ones that improve performance and reliability.

Requirements

• You have shipped products that many stakeholders depend on.
• You are comfortable across the front end and back end, and you have used Next.js, TypeScript, React and Python before.
• You communicate well and treat written documentation as a way to get feedback on technical designs.
• You can turn complex needs and goals into explanations that any audience can follow.
• You are willing to learn new technologies and use them where they fit.
• You are excited about AI and want to help the company grow.

Conditions

Full-time role.

The company is remote-friendly, and there are offices in Toronto, London, New York City, San Francisco, Montreal, Paris, Berlin and Seoul, with more planned.
