Senior Frontend Engineer (all genders)

Description

The company runs enterprise e-commerce platforms for brands and retailers that want to sell direct to consumers. It is one of the fastest-growing platforms of its kind and is known for its focus on data, international teamwork and bold decisions.

You would join a frontend team building high-traffic shop interfaces, working in an agile Scrum setup.

Responsibilities

• Build shop features and designs, mainly with Nuxt 3 and Tailwind CSS, using JavaScript, TypeScript, Vue 3 and Nuxt 3.
• Build features that improve user experience and conversion rates.
• Ship modern design systems and features alongside developers, product managers and QA engineers.
• Help the Tech Lead draft architecture decisions and assess new web technologies.
• Keep code quality high through code reviews, automated and manual testing, and taking part in team retrospectives.
• Own end-to-end quality and pixel-accurate implementation, using test frameworks such as Vitest and Playwright.
• Share knowledge and take part in the internal engineering community.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of professional frontend experience, with solid fundamentals.
• Professional experience with TypeScript and Vue 3.
• Strong command of HTML, JavaScript and CSS.
• Hands-on work with Tailwind CSS and a precise eye for UI design.
• Good understanding of accessibility and performance optimisation.
• Practical use of automated testing tools such as Playwright, Jest or Vitest.
• Background in B2C e-commerce, or experience in a fast-paced boutique agency.
• Excellent English communication and the ability to see things from other people's perspectives.
• Nice to have: experience with Redis.
• Nice to have: a passion for performance and accessibility.
• Nice to have: early knowledge of Vue Storefront and Scayle.
