Senior Platform Engineer - SCAYLE Payments (all genders)

Description

The company is a BaFin-regulated payment services institute and a subsidiary of ABOUT YOU Group, handling the full payment flow for the ABOUT YOU online fashion store, from integrating payment providers and methods at checkout to deposits and payouts for end customers and merchants.

The team works on making e-commerce payments simpler, safer and more forward-looking.

Responsibilities

• Build and improve scalable AWS and Kubernetes environments with Terraform.
• Set up secure GitLab CI pipelines that include SAST and DAST testing.
• Own Datadog monitoring, spot risks early and lead incident response.
• Enforce IAM and RBAC rules, harden infrastructure and manage patching.
• Manage credential security and threat detection with GuardDuty and Falco.
• Work with engineering on architecture, audits and compliance.

Requirements

• 5+ years in DevOps or SRE, and 3+ years in cloud security.
• Production experience with AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform and GitLab CI.
• Working knowledge of Go, Python or JavaScript.
• Familiarity with PostgreSQL and basic data pipelines such as AWS Glue.
• Hands-on experience with Datadog, GuardDuty, Falco and cloud hardening.
• Strong English communication skills and comfort working in Agile teams.
