Senior Frontend Engineer

The team builds customer-facing applications for the company's flagship platform, and this senior role focuses on design, performance and architecture as well as hands-on delivery.

You will work with product managers, UX designers and product owners to create strong user experiences and help set technical direction across the team.

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable, high-quality frontend applications in JavaScript, TypeScript and modern frameworks.
• Take features from requirements analysis and technical design through implementation, testing and deployment.
• Help modernise the frontend.
• Keep coding standards, testing practices and development automation strong.
• Turn business requirements into technical solutions with the Product and UX teams.
• Work with backend, QA and DevOps colleagues to integrate systems and keep delivery reliable.
• Improve reliability, performance, observability and scalability, and diagnose complex technical issues.
• Help improve tools, processes and engineering practices.
• Mentor mid-level and junior developers and share knowledge across the development team.

Requirements

• A bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• Excellent proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript and modern frontend frameworks, ideally around 8-10 years of experience.
• Strong experience with full-stack development in any modern backend framework or language.
• Proven record of delivering complex software products in Agile environments.
• Strong understanding of web performance, UI architecture and accessibility.
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Strong communication skills for working with senior leaders and stakeholders.
• Experience working in distributed, cross-functional engineering teams.
