The Group Investment Management Tooling and Data team at the company builds, runs and supports resilient solutions on Broadcom Clarity PPM, which the business uses for investment, portfolio and delivery management.
This is a senior, hands-on Clarity role. You own solutions from requirements through release and live support, and you make sound technical calls that weigh customer needs, delivery speed, platform integrity, maintainability and long-term support.
The company is a global provider of financial markets infrastructure and data, operating in 65 countries with about 25,000 staff.
Responsibilities
Design, configure, build and maintain Clarity solutions across objects, attributes, lookups, processes, jobs, portlets, Classic Studio and Modern UX.
Write and support GEL scripts, XOG processes, NSQL, Clarity APIs and database components that deliver secure, scalable business features.
Turn business requirements into clear technical designs, prototypes and production-ready builds, and explain options, constraints and impacts to customers before you build.
Design for resilience and ease of change, testing and support. Push back on unnecessary customisation and favour sustainable use of the platform.
Design and support integrations between Clarity and enterprise financial, workforce and delivery systems using REST, SOAP, XOG and suitable integration patterns.
Build and tune SQL, stored procedures, views and extracts. Troubleshoot data, performance and sync issues across end-to-end flows.
Support operational and executive reporting through Clarity portlets, extracts and downstream tools such as Power BI, keeping data accurate and fast.
Own technical quality for your assigned changes: peer review, unit and regression testing, defect fixes, release controls and documentation.
Investigate complex production incidents, find root causes and deliver permanent fixes. Support incidents, platform health, upgrades, patches, migrations and environment refreshes.
Help shape Clarity security, data model design, technical standards and design assurance. Spot risks early and clear blockers quickly.
Work directly with PMO, Finance, Resource Management, Technology and other partners to understand goals, shape requirements and speed up useful delivery.
Make sensible calls when requirements, priorities or constraints are unclear. Present practical options with recommendations covering customer impact, effort, risk and ongoing support.
Coach colleagues in your areas of expertise, carry out peer reviews, and help define, adopt and enforce development, design and testing standards.
