Description

The company is an automotive semiconductor business looking for a senior leader to define and raise the customer experience for its automotive microprocessor platforms as software-defined and AI-driven vehicles grow.

This role reports to the General Manager, sits on the senior leadership team, and leads a global applications engineering organization that helps customers evaluate, adopt and deploy products quickly and well.

You will combine leadership of the organization with hands-on responsibility for customers, shaping how software, tools and AI-enabled workflows make the platform stand out beyond the silicon, and making sure urgent customer issues are handled with discipline.

Responsibilities

  • Set the direction for the customer and developer experience and communicate it clearly.
  • Own the technical journey customers take from evaluation to deployment so that it stands apart.
  • Align global engineering, product and customer-facing teams so customers get the same experience everywhere.
  • Convert customer feedback, support trends and integration problems into clear engineering priorities.
  • Make sound decisions that weigh customer value, business impact and the platform's long-term success.
  • Stay close to customers and lead complex technical engagements and escalations.

Requirements

  • Have a proven record leading large, multi-disciplinary engineering organizations.
  • Bring embedded systems expertise across hardware, software and system architecture.
  • Have a strong software background, including modern development, integration and debugging.
  • Turn ambiguity into clear direction and execution.
  • Show strong critical thinking, judgment and problem-solving.
  • Manage stakeholders well enough to align engineering, product, sales and executive leadership.
  • Balance customer needs, technical investment and business outcomes with commercial awareness.
  • Preferably have experience in automotive semiconductors, SDV platforms or complex embedded compute systems.
  • Preferably have driven transformation in developer experience, software enablement or AI-powered engineering.

Conditions

Location and work arrangement are not specified in the posting beyond the United States reference in the 'more information' link.

The company is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer and provides reasonable accommodations for qualified disabled individuals.
