Senior DataOps Engineer (m/f/d)

Description

The company runs an online pharmacy and is building data solutions for its Data and AI initiatives in digital healthcare.

The role centres on data pipelines and architecture that let Data and AI models produce insights.

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable, high-performance data pipelines and improve the data architecture.
• Build and deploy cloud-native solutions using Azure Data Services, Databricks and other big data technologies.
• Work with other teams to understand their data needs and make sure the architecture supports current and future initiatives.
• Apply CI/CD practices in data analytics projects to speed up development and deployment.
• Keep improving performance, scalability and security of the data systems.

Requirements

• 5+ years in data engineering, software development or a related field, including ingesting and processing large datasets.
• Hands-on work with Azure cloud platforms and working knowledge of Databricks or Apache Spark.
• Experience with big data technologies such as Kafka or Flink, and SQL for analytics.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language, such as Python, Scala or Java.
• Working experience with GitHub and DevOps.
• Motivation to learn and apply best practices for cloud-native systems and distributed architecture in an innovative environment.

Conditions

Work from home is possible if the role does not require office presence; the place of work can be arranged individually, including up to 20 days a year anywhere in the EU.
