Senior Data Scientist

The data science team is building the models that help sales teams spot and win commercial opportunities, and the role sits between advanced analytics and day-to-day sales work.

Automated tools help with the administrative side of recruitment, but human recruiters and hiring managers make every hiring decision.

Responsibilities

• Own the commercial analytics data science roadmap from problem definition and experiments through to production and measuring impact.
• Improve the existing lead scoring and conversion models, and build new predictive algorithms.
• Design and run experiments, such as A/B tests and causal inference studies, to measure the effect on revenue and sales.
• Work with data engineers, analytics engineers and data analysts to put model predictions into CRM and sales workflows.
• Turn complex technical results into business insights, and work with sales leaders to get the tools adopted.
• Act as an individual contributor and the technical go-to for modelling, setting standards for model design, validation and productionisation.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of hands-on data science work, including putting predictive models into production and measuring their commercial impact.
• Advanced Python and SQL skills for working with large structured and unstructured datasets.
• Strong grounding in statistical modelling, machine learning and rigorous model evaluation.
• Experience building at least one of: customer lifetime value, churn prediction, lead scoring or propensity models.
• Ability to turn technical findings into clear strategy for executives, and to work well with engineers and business stakeholders.
• Nice to have: hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform, including BigQuery, Vertex AI and Cloud Functions.
• Nice to have: expertise in A/B testing, uplift modelling and causal analysis.
• Nice to have: experience connecting model outputs to Salesforce or a similar CRM.
• Nice to have: experience deploying large language models for unstructured text and sentiment analysis.

Conditions

Stack: Python, SQL, Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery, AI Platform, Cloud Functions), machine learning libraries, Salesforce CRM and large language models.

Hybrid working from the Madrid office.
