Description

The Data Engineering & Analytics team sits within Engineering & Workplace in Operations and works to make Manufacturing (shopfloor) and Engineering (R&D) more data driven.

The role is a Senior Analytics Engineer position in that team, focused on building a reliable data foundation that helps Manufacturing and Engineering make better decisions. You will design and maintain dimensional data models, build scalable data products on Databricks, and help deliver analytics solutions across Operations, combining data engineering, analytics and business understanding.

The team is part of Manufacturing Products and Data Enablement, and its purpose is getting value from data. The team works in a hybrid rhythm across Billund and Nyíregyháza.

Success means delivering reliable data products that stakeholders trust and use. You will strengthen data modelling practices, improve the availability and quality of data, and contribute to scalable solutions for an expanding manufacturing footprint. You will work closely with product managers, project managers, peers and business stakeholders to shape how data creates value across Operations.

Applications are reviewed on an ongoing basis, and the company may amend or withdraw the job at any time, including before the advertised closing date.

Responsibilities

  • Design and maintain a robust data foundation for Manufacturing and Engineering.
  • Create and manage data products that give people access to reliable, high-quality data.
  • Turn data into scalable solutions that support informed business decisions.
  • Support the development of automated data pipelines, APIs and analytics capabilities.
  • Contribute to data engineering standards and ways of working across the organisation.
  • Help teams understand performance metrics and find opportunities for improvement through data.

Requirements

  • Have delivered solutions using Python, PySpark and SQL in production environments.
  • Have built dimensional data models that supported reporting, analytics or operational decision-making.
  • Have created, maintained and automated ETL pipelines on cloud-based platforms.
  • Have applied DevOps and DataOps practices to improve quality, scalability, security and automation.
  • Have worked with cloud technologies such as Azure, AWS or Google Cloud to deliver data solutions.
  • Have developed reliable data products that let stakeholders access and use trusted data.
  • Nice to have: applied agentic data engineering concepts in data platform environments.
  • Nice to have: used Power BI Dataflow or similar technologies within data and analytics ecosystems.
  • Nice to have: delivered analytics or data engineering solutions in manufacturing environments.
  • Nice to have: developed Databricks-based reporting, dashboards or analytics capabilities.
  • Strong technical delivery matters most, along with an understanding of how people use data to make decisions. Experience turning complex operational data into trusted data products is a good fit.
  • You are collaborative and curious, comfortable working independently, and able to explain technical concepts clearly while building strong stakeholder relationships.
