Power BI & Python Web Developer

You would join a team building Power BI dashboards and Python web and data services that bring together data from several sources and apply APIs.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports that are easy to use, quick to load, and clear in their visuals.
• Link Power BI to several sources, such as relational databases, REST APIs, and files.
• Write Python for web applications, backend services, and data processing.
• Build, consume, and maintain REST APIs so that applications and data sources can communicate.
• Create and upkeep AWS Lambda functions for serverless processing, transformation, and integration tasks.
• Transform data with Pandas and NumPy before it reaches reports and dashboards.
• Work with technical and business colleagues to clarify needs and turn them into working solutions.
• Use CI/CD and version control to keep code sound, maintainable, and deployments dependable.

Requirements

• 2, 3 years of Power BI work, including dashboard building, data modelling, and visualization.
• Python web development experience, covering backend work and data processing.
• Experience designing, building, and calling REST APIs.
• Hands-on AWS Lambda work, building and deploying serverless functions.
• Working knowledge of relational databases and SQL.
• Skill with Pandas and NumPy for handling and transforming data.
• Experience with CI/CD and software delivery workflows.
• Advanced Git and version control skills.
• Understanding of software best practices, code quality, and application integration.
• Practical use of FastAPI or another Python web framework.
• Experience with AWS services beyond Lambda, particularly those used for data integration and processing.
• Familiarity with DevOps tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with automated testing and deployment pipelines.
• Knowledge of cloud architectures and serverless application development.

Conditions

4-month contract, with a possible move to a permanent role.
