Business Intelligence Analyst I, New College Grad - Bachelor's (Santa Clara, CA)

Description

The company makes materials science and engineering equipment used to build nearly every new semiconductor chip and advanced display worldwide, and it services that equipment.

That equipment supports AI development and the commercial rollout of next-generation chips.

You would work with the AGS Sourcing organization, where Supplier Account Managers manage strategic external suppliers for parts and materials across several commodities, with a focus on cost, lead time and quality.

Responsibilities

• Gather data and reporting needs from the Supply Chain team and translate them into business requirements.
• Pass those requirements to the Technical Business Intelligence team for automated reports, user interfaces and local database storage.
• Pull data from internal user-facing databases, such as historical spend and planning forecasts by part number, commodity and supplier.
• Analyze spend, revenue, purchase price variance and cost from a financial standpoint.
• Calculate and report MCOS, PPV, gross margin and P&L figures from spend and revenue data.
• Use Excel to summarize data by supplier, commodity and account manager, building tables, charts and graphs.
• Build PowerPoint slides with charts, key bullets and takeaways from your analysis.
• Ask Account Managers for their input on significant cost and spend variances.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in business, finance, management information systems or a related field.
• A GPA of 0 or above is preferred.
• Strong Excel skills, including VLOOKUP, pivot tables, automated functions, calculations and cost models.
• Strong PowerPoint skills, including charts, graphs and takeaways.
• Proficiency in internal databases such as SAP, MS Access and Tableau.
• Understanding of financial analysis, including MCOS, PPV, gross margin and P&L statements.
• Plus: knowledge of the semiconductor industry.
• Plus: knowledge of supply chain management.

Conditions

Pay range: $72,000.00 - $99,000.00.

Pay depends on location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience and internal equity.

Location: Santa Clara, CA.

Full-time, new college graduate role with no travel and no relocation eligibility.
